Originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, Ryan spent many years in Austin before reconnecting in 2024 with his childhood friend and top-producing agent Katie K. Portenga. Together they launched the City and Summit Group under Coldwell Banker Global Luxury, serving clients throughout Denver, Boulder, and Colorado's most sought-after mountain communities.

Ryan's love of the outdoors has shaped both his lifestyle and his approach to business. For more than 25 years, he guided bay and offshore fishing expeditions and airboat duck hunting adventures throughout South Texas. A dedicated conservationist, he has served on committees for Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited, Coastal Conservation Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Quail Coalition, and Safari Club International.
