It was clear that he is very knowledgeable about the entire process and I feel like he always had our best interest at heart. I never felt pressured to settle, he showed us a lot of great options, and was always honest about his thoughts. He was great at understanding our wants and needs and showing us properties that were reflective of those preferences. He not only would point out what may need updates but also how we could add value to the property. We moved from out of state, and though we'd been keeping an eye on the market from afar, we really needed someone knowledgeable about our target communities to help us make the right choice about where to live. Ryan helped us navigate this incredibly quick-paced, low-inventory market and, with his expertise, knowledge, and wisdom, helped us buy the home of our dreams. We could not have done this without him. Ryan quickly developed a very good sense for what our family was looking for, and identified interesting prospects the moment they came up on the market. He was always able to meet us for a showing the day a property came up on the market. He was as persistent with this process as we were; we began our house hunt in earnest in early November 2021, and didn't go under contract until mid-February 2022. He earned our trust with his professionalism. He had a very good eye for the structure and condition of the homes we toured, and looked carefully at roofs, windows, and utility rooms/furnaces. Ryan was immediately responsive to any questions we had throughout the process, and made everything move smoothly to closing. There are a lot of realtors out there - the Star Tribune recently published that there are over 22,000 in this great state - but Ryan Ecklund is truly one of the best. Our plan is to never sell this beautiful house, but if we find ourselves needing to make a change, we will only hire Ryan. When we finally convince our dear friends to move to the Twin Cities, we will only recommend Ryan. We've purchased four houses and sold three, and Ryan has been the best buyer's agent we've ever seen (and we've had some great realtors!).
