ZillowVERIFIEDKevin Ingalls is on our list of great things about Vermont. He has a pleasant down to earth way. He always listened to us well. He knows the market and the players. He made it a point to learn in those few instances in which he did not know the full answer to a question. He navigated my wife's and my (oh so rare) inconsistent priorities; thought of novel approaches that avoided problems, and advocated effectively on our behalf. Kevin's straight forward honesty, calm demeanor, good humor, brains, and willingness to go the extra mile, served us very well, and were especially appreciated in COVID times. We give Kevin our highest possible recommendation.

ZillowVERIFIED Russ did an outstanding job negotiating on the house we wanted! When the deal didn't originally go through, we started to move on another house and Russ continue negotiating until he got the house to an amount we could afford.

ZillowVERIFIED My husband Ryan and I couldn't recommend Russ more if you are looking to buy or sell. He helped us buy our first home, and I couldn't have asked for a better person to help us through the process. When we found our home, we were living in Virginia, so the house was out of state for us. Russ not only took the time to drive down and see the house with us, he helped educate us on the different areas of Vermont as well. He was able to answer all of our first time home buyer questions, and really took the time to get to know us. He's a great guy who really cares about his clients and works for the best outcome for you. Russ we love the house, and couldn't be happier! If you're ever back down in the area please stop in :) Thanks again! The Barnett's

ZillowVERIFIED After our dad passed my brother and I took a local contractors advice to hire Russell to sell our house. What a mistake! We lived out of town and believed him when he said he could handle all the details of selling the house though we were out of town. I am sure in an effort to move the house fast, he assured us it was in our best interest to list the house for $25k less than the appraisal value. We got an offer right away and again Russell assured us he would handle the details in moving our home though we were still living out of town. We ran into problems when our pipes froze. Russell assured us he would handle the details with a local contractor to get the matter resolved. We paid all of the bills as they kept racking up. One final piece of work needed to be done, repair of the shower. Russell said the process would stop but asked us to accept $2,000 less on our house contract because the new owners were going to tear the shower out anyway. We begrudgingly accepted. Having paid all of our bills promptly, we went to the closing less the $2,000. To our amazement we got another bill from the local contractor for just under $400 telling us the work on the shower had been completed. We refused to pay as we had already accepted the reduced contract. Now the contractor is taking our account to collection. Since the house sold 4 months ago Russell has continued to assure us he would take care of the problem. Not only hasnt it been resolved but now Russell refuses to respond to our inquiries. All in all what we had been assured would be a good and seamless experience turned into a nightmare.

ZillowVERIFIED Russell returned my inquiry concerning homes in Newport Vermont promptly. My husband and I wanted to move to the Vermont area and Russell made that happen. Quickly, and professionally. From start to finish Russell was there to help us move from Pennsylvania to Vermont with ease. If I had to describe Russell in one word INTEGRITY! We appreciated having Russell on our side.

ZillowVERIFIED Russ is the best real estate agent that I have worked with, period. His knowledge of the regional housing market was excellent. We are not from the area and he provided great information about various towns, types of dwellings, and access. He spent a great deal of time with us trying to make sure we saw properties that fit our needs and budget and never rushed us. He proved to be a good negotiator and followed through on all major steps after we made an offer, such as helping us arrange an inspection, providing references for work that we planned to do, and recommending a good attorney. He has my highest recommendation.

ZillowVERIFIED Russ worked very hard for me. He never pressured me into making a decision that I wasn't unsure about, but he always educated me when I was about to make a wrong decision. Russ and I worked together for over a year and he eventually got me a killer deal on my dream home. I highly highly recommend working with Russ as your real estate agent.

ZillowVERIFIED Russ worked with us in purchasing our second home here in Derby VT. We looked at quite a few homes, put in a couple offers on other houses before we decided on the one we reside in now. Russ was very helpful and patient through the whole process which took many months. When we put in an offer on the house we live in he worked hard to negotiate the offer and got us a good deal on the home. Russ works hard for his clients, earning our respect and friendship. We will be recommending him to everyone we meet and calling him when/if we decide to move again. Thank you Russ!

ZillowVERIFIED Russell was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond in his duties. He was sure to find me several different houses to show me that suited my needs and was a great help to communicate with the owners and listing agents. He helped find the perfect home for me and was extremely flexible as I began the process from a different state and was not able to be there for much of the search. Although I have already closed on my house and moved in a few weeks ago, he continues to give me tips on anything I have questions on. He has made moving to a new town basically stress-free and I know I can count on him if I have any additional questions. I highly recommend Russell's real estate expertise, local knowledge and professionalism - you won't be disappointed!

ZillowVERIFIED Russell Ingalls was a great resource during our search for a property in Vermont. He is very knowledgeable about the towns laws and restrictions that we were interested in viewing. We are not from this state so Russ walked us through the differences. I found Russ to be a genuinely honest person keeping our best interest in mind, not just trying to sell us something quick. He explained in great detail about what we should look for in each property and issues to watch out for. I would highly recommend anyone searching for property to contact Russ!

ZillowVERIFIED Russ was recommended to my wife and I by a mutual friend. We were relocating from southern New Hampshire to the Newport, VT area and Russ took the time to find out exactly what we were looking for in our transition. He took the time to show us over a dozen properties and the very first house we saw ended up being the right home for us. We would recommend anyone looking to buy or sell there home in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom to contact Russ. He will work hard to make your experience a success.

ZillowVERIFIED Russ was the second agent we contacted thru Zillow. The first was uninspiring and apathetic. Russ was exactly the opposite! His knowledge of the area we were interested in was noteworthy, and I was appreciative of the way he took the time to listen to what we wanted in a property. After a couple of months of refining our search, he found us a lovely property in a town we had long admired.
