Beginning her early career in real estate in the spring of 1990, Roylin developed a passion for first time buyers, and matching buyers with their perfect first home. Previous management experience at Nordstrom provided her with the high level of customer service needed in navigating real estate transactions. Roylin's experience in real estate extends beyond being an agent. Her endeavors included managing publications like the Pasadena Association of REALTORS Real Estate Weekly magazine, and developing unique advertising opportunities for REALTORS with the Hot Properties advertising section in the LA Times, which is still running in the paper today. Roylin took her career in real estate to yet another level as the National Sales Director for the California Association of REALTORS in 2000. In that capacity, she managed the REALTOR benefits programs at CAR, and oversaw the annual Trade Show and advertising in the RET and California Real Estate Magazines. In Ventura, she founded, owned and operated Real Estate and Living Magazine and published and distributed it throughout Ventura County from 2007-2010. After purchasing a home in Ventura, Roylin was inspired to rejoin the ranks of the REALTOR community and has been representing buyers and sellers in Ventura County. With her diverse background in the real estate industry, she offers a powerfully unique skill set and expertise to her clients.

FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Take your time. Do your research. Get the support of a local expert, and understand the buying process. It's the most important investment you'll make in your life and you want the person you work with not just be someone you know... you need to trust them to handle the most important transaction of your life... to negotiate and advise you thru the process.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
It's important when you're selling your most important asset that you have someone supporting and advising you throughout the process. Selling your home isn't about putting a sign out, and waiting for calls. It's about preparing for the sale, understanding the market and buyer needs, negotiating the contract, and hand holding you though the process to insure you get the best price and terms, all while selling something very personal to you... your home. Be sure to work with someone you trust to handle each step along the way.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with all kinds of buyers. Older first time buyers, as well as young first time buyers. People who haven't bought or sold in 45-50 years, that are selling their first home, and individuals who have sold a home every few years. People who are selling their loved ones home after they passed, and families selling their family home after mom died. Each situation is unique, and to me there is no cookie cutter way of listing a home, or representing a buyer. Each situation is unique, and should be handled with kid gloves, and the care and respect of someone buying or selling their most important asset... their home.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I recently assisted a woman and her family selling their fire damaged property, which they had owned for 48 years. Finding the mother her "forever home" and balancing the trauma of losing something so precious, with the needs of the grown children to ensure Mom got what she needed, while slowly guiding her through the process of purchasing a $2 million home, when her first home cost her less than $50,000... was a delicate dance. Everyone in the family was ecstatic when she was finally settled in a lovely single-story home, with 4 bedrooms 3 baths and a lovely kitchen! And selling her fire damaged home to help facilitate the transition was amazing! Easy and effortless, with strategy and planning.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got into real estate in the 1990's in Pasadena when my husband was a mortgage lender and I was a young mother. I left real estate sales as a single mom, but stayed in real estate advertising, and eventually found my way back after my kids were grown, and I purchased my home in Ventura. I have never looked back and find so much joy in helping individuals buy their first home, downsize, or right size, and make investments that will last a lifetime.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Yes, I am a Certified AI Agent as well as a Buyers Specialist and a Seller Specialist. I carry the ABS and SRS designations.

Lee and Roylin treated me like family. Immediately, I could see that they had a high level of intelligence, experience, and expertise. They guided me past pitfalls and into the perfect purchase. The focus was never on the quick sale. The priority was to find my family a home that would be a comfort for years to come. Buying a home is complicated and there is so much that can go wrong. Having talented agents in whom I could really trust made all the difference.

"Roylin has the greatest personality for real estate. Whenever I was nervous about anything or had concerns, she was able to calm me down and educate me about the entire process. She was also easy to reach and very responsive throughout the process."

Roylin was very intuitive as to what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with the house she found for us. And she sold our previous house in two days over asking price. We're so pleased that we found Roylin and we're in our perfect house!"
