ZillowVERIFIEDRon was the best....From finding us a serious buyer (house on the market July 4 weekend, closed on the sale August 18) to getting us a fair price for our home and everything in between! He spelled out the whole process of selling a property and what we needed to do to get the best offer. Painting the basement and make small fixes can go a long way. Ron handled inspections and appraisal, happy I did not need to be involved. And when there was questions about the sewer system he scheduled the professional plumbers for me and oversaw the work... big bonus for us as we are not in the best of health! Any questions I had for Ron were responded to promptly. Ron knows this market since he is a resident of the area himself. He had all the area comps and how our property compared to the others. Negotiations skills were fair and honest.

ZillowVERIFIEDI cannot recommend Ron Otto and his partner Luke Boyea with Motus Real Estate enough! They were such a great resource when we sold our Detroit home. They were very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the market in general. They helped us to negotiate the best deal and we ended up getting multiple offers which I feel was related to how they promoted the home. I was also so grateful for the help and advice staging the house. They even brought over some plants for curb appeal. My husband and I received so much advice from Ron and Luke on what to spend time on to get the house ready to sell to get too dollar. I would highly recommend Ron and Luke.
ZillowVERIFIEDThis property on Lakepointe was one I purchased a few years ago with the idea of moving in, fixing up, and flipping. In fact I ended up purchasing another property around the same time frame, moved into that property, and decided to put this investment property on the rental market which, pre COVID was a pretty hot market and a good ROI. Things went well for about a year and then COVID wrecked the business plan. The property became a bit of a nuisance for me and then I accepted some new work challenges that compounded the basic COVID challenges for landlords. Quite frankly, I decided to throw in the towel on this property without loosing my shirt, or my spirit. Ron took the time early on to understand my position and his first focus was for me to get the most bang for the buck. In short, he recommended me investing about $15k to see a $25k increase in sales price, sound advice for sure. But just as soon as Ron realized that for me, it was a $15k personal distraction (my price tag on my time) and therefore would have been a $5k overall loss, he pulled a win-win out of his pocket with a cash buyer who could close in 10 days, mitigate all the distractions and hassles of listings and showings, and bring closure without Sellers remorse. It is on this last point where I found Ron most respectful. He was more concerned with my feeling good about the deal than he was about a sales commission. In the end he earned his commission, and my respect, in the process.
