ZillowVERIFIED As first-time home buyers, we were very fortunate to work with Christal Browning. She was available 24/7 for anything home-related that we needed. She explained everything in full-detail and made sure we understood. She never pushed us to make decisions. It was very apparent that our best interest and happiness in a home was at the forefront of her mission. Christal crawled through dirt to look at crawlspaces, she responded to emails at 3am, and anything the lender needed from her was given in a matter of minutes. Despite being highly sought after as a realtor, when she was with us for showings, we had her undivided attention. Christal pointed out things we missed and taught us more about what to look for along the way. Again, as first-time home buyers we had a lot of questions- some that maybe were outside a realtor's purview- but Christal was always very patient and knowledgeable helping us through the process from start to finish.In the 6-months or so it took us to find a house, there were a few times that Christal was unavailable because she was working with other clients. In those instances, her husband, Roger, and her assistant were very quick to answer questions or schedule viewings. It was immediately apparent that Christal was extremely knowledgeable about the Lexington housing market, which is a testament to her experience in the field. During our first meeting with her, Christal had recommendations for mortgage lenders, home inspection agencies, and she provided materials and resources that outlined the entire home buying process. She was completely transparent, which we found helpful and refreshing, especially because we were first time home buyers.Once we started working with Christal, we were amazed by her incredible knack for helping clients identify what they want in a home, even when they have difficulty articulating it. As first-time home buyers we had some idea about what we wanted, but there was also so much that we didnt know or hadnt considered. To help us get a sense of what was aEURoeout there,aEUR? Christal cultivated showings that offered a range of features to help us (and her) learn what we wanted. When on showings with Christal, merely from our nonverbal reactions to certain aspects of potential homes she was able to glean what we liked and what we didnt.
