Blake is one of the if the best realtor that we have ever met. Even during the middle of this pandemic, he worked tirelessly with us and the buyer's agent to make sure that this deal didn't fall apart. On top of that, he got us over asking for our house (which we never thought possible). He was open and honest throughout the process and never tried to placate us. I don't think that we would have made it through as unscathed as we are without his expertise. Ive never had an experience with real estate until my mother got sick, and my brother and I moved home to take care of her. We ended up taking care of her for the better part of two years until it got too much to manage. The house was on a one acre lot in Rowlett, and as you can imagine, was a lot of work to maintain. Before my father passed my parents bought a lot out in Heath and used Rod and his team, therefore I recognized the name. I called him when it was time to sell, and he came out and took a look. Rod and his team did so much, and Ashlea was an integral part in keeping me updated every single day and answering any of my questions. She did so much work to ensure the process was as smooth as possible. Of course selling is sometimes stressful, but this experience was one of the best Ive had with people who genuinely care about being great people and helping as much as they can. Jodi Vinson (an amazing interior designer on the team) came out and took a look and gave her recommendations on what should be updated. We followed her advice and took a couple of months preparing the house. She gave us great info to all the resources for the estate sale (Chris Johnson did an amazing job), repairmen, etc. I dont know where I would be without this team. The house went on the market and sold within the first week. By far the one of the easier experiences in my life. Like I said, they are genuine people who care and take heart in your home. The house sold for listing price and we couldnt be more satisfied. I highly recommend this team and will absolutely be using them for anything real estate related for the rest of my life. Thank you guys for all of your hard work. Cant wait to reconnect in the future.
