The viewing went well, and we received an email with the application form shortly after, which we completed and submitted immediately. After that, nothing. no response to texts. For context, we both meet or exceed the typical income and credit requirements (3x rent and credit scores in the mid-700s). Just my income is from overseas, so I understand that verifying it may involve additional questions and documentation which I'm ready to give. and if a landlord doesnt want that hassle, I completely get it. We finally reached the realtor by phone on May 6th aEUR" four business days later. She apologized and said the landlord had been very busy. Two days after that, the listing was quietly taken off the market. We never heard a single word. Because we liked the place, we had held off on applying elsewhere, and ended up completely ghosted. I fully accept that we may not have been the ideal tenants given the complications around overseas income. What I found unprofessional was the failure to communicate any outcome at all aEUR" approved or denied. A simple one-line email or text is the bare minimum business courtesy, rather than ghosting.

They are backed up by a deep organization with very responsive administrative staff, a very knowledgeable stager with excellent suggestions.
