I will be honest and say that I didnt want to like him when I met him because I had already made up my mind about how I wanted to go about selling our family home. However, his professionalism (his response time and availability were outstanding, and he made sure to communicate with us ahead of time if he had plans with his family - a courtesy that went above and beyond in my opinion), his willingness to share his expertise, to answer my incessant questions, and most importantly to acknowledge and validate our emotions throughout the entire process, made a very difficult decision significantly easier for our family. He did everything he could to ensure that day-to-day life for my children and pets was disrupted as little as possible, something this Mama Bear completely appreciated. Review To say that Robert had the deck stacked against him to sell our house was an understatement and yet in about 2 months, he sold it! Backstory: our HOA had recently gave each condo in the community a $67,000 special emergency assessment due in 60 days and as a result, we knew we needed to sell. The only caveat? We did NOT want to cover the assessment in closing costs and instead wanted the buyer to pay it, as we did not have enough equity in the house to feel comfortable paying for it. To make selling even more difficult, at the time we listed, there were 11+ other houses in our condo complex and most of them were 20k-60k BENEATH us in price AND were willing to cover the assessment. Yet through Roberts hard work, we were able to sell first AND at the highest price point out of all the houses that were on the market. To say we are grateful that he sold our house in an understatement. While the process was beyond stressful and heartbreaking at times, Robert remained optimistic and held on to the belief that we would sell the house, even when my husband and I thought all seemed lost. He even found us a beautiful rental property to move into once escrow closed and made sure we were happily settled in. While I dont wish the past 3 months we lived through on anybody, if you find yourself in a tough spot, Robert is the man to call. Without him, I cant even imagine where we would be.

First time home buying is very stressful, especially in the current condition of the market and Robert truly made the process so much easier. Review I have known Robert for about 10 years since the Pop Warner Football days in Yorba Linda. He was the coach of my oldest son. Since then, I have noticed the passion in which he operates. Even though coaching is voluntary, he treated coaching with great responsibility. I knew his profession was in real estate. Well, after many years of preparation, I had the opportunity to purchase a home. Without hesitation, I turned to Robert for his assistance and expertise. I knew I would be in good hands with him and his team during the home buying process. During the home buying process, we ran into great competition from other potential buyers. Homes were snagged up right away, or higher offers were accepted to earn the sellers business. While I knew Robert was working for me in the background, I stumbled across on newly listed townhome early morning on a weekday. I contacted Robert and told him of the new listing. According to the images, it looked like a home I would be interested in purchasing. But I could not take time off from work and was concerned I would be too late to conduct a tour of it and placing an offer. Robert offered to go and tour the property for me and showed me the home via FaceTime, and after that, I agreed to place an offer. We later found out there was another offer already accepted. Robert advised putting an offer in hopes if the accepted offer doesnt work out. We then continued searching for other homes. Not too long, I get a call from Robert saying the seller accepted my offer over the previous one. Fast forward, after 30 days, I am now a homeowner. Without the help of Robert thinking outside of the box and willingly driving about 25 miles with traffic to tour the property and using todays technology to show me the property as if I was there, it was crucial to buying my townhome in this competitive housing market. His team made the home buying process seamless and satisfying. Thank you, Robert, and your team for achieving my goal of being a homeowner. Review My wife and I bought a condo in 2007 under some really BAD advice from another agent and ended up walking away in 2012. Fast forward 8 years, we now are in escrow for a new home in Placentia. We hired Robert Rivera from the Rivera Group when we were ready to start the process. Needless to say we are more than happy with the service he has provided. When we found a home to see on Zillow, and reached out to ask for a tour, he was on the phone within a few minutes if he couldn't answer immediately. In some cases we were able to see the house that very same day, if now hour. And I know Robert has very high profile clients, like Los Angeles Chargers players. He is 100% all in with what he does. He has made this process of buying a new home very very smooth. Especially with his recommendations for home improvements. His "guys" are easy to contact and do very good work for an affordable price. We needed ceilings scraped, cracks in walls an ceilings fixed, walls refinished, electrical outlets and light switches replaced, new floors laid, and the house painted. All contacts Robert gave were amazing to work with. And no matter what time of the day it was, if we needed to go to the new house in escrow, he was willing to meet us there so we can take measurements, or whatever it was we needed to do. Robert Rivera is a professional and he is the best at what he does, speaking from personal experience. The best part is that Robert is brutally honest and is not going to try to sell you anything you don't need or can't afford. Review Absolutely Amazing and Wonderful Experiences !!! We first came to know Robert when we were looking to buy our home in Yorba Linda. One meeting with him and we were hooked. His knowledge of the market is amazing and he knows exactly the ins and outs of Market. Working with him was great as he helped us narrowing down to exactly what we were looking in a home. His Patience in working with us is well appreciated as he always took time to make sure we were satisfied and then he gives his valuable opinion to help us decide. Robert is very efficient in following up closely and making sure that the interests of his clients are always addressed and taken care of. Another thing that stands out is that of approximately 10 real estate teams that we have worked with so far, my son who is 8 now, remembers only Robert !! Two years later, we needed help again for renting one of our properties. In between this time, we met another real estate agent who offered her services to help us rent. She tried for 6 weeks and was not able to close the deal. I called Robert and asked to help out. In between his busy schedule, he graciously agreed to help out. Within 2 weeks , he found us renters.
