We had reached the decision to move into a 55+ community either in Richmond or Williamsburg. We had visited the Colonial Heritage community several times and were drawn to it. Our original intention was for new construction but felt we probably should also consider existing. This is when we went online and reached out to Williamsburg Realty. Within a very short time we were contacted by Robert and set a time and place to meet. From the very beginning Robert has been professional, thorough and extremely helpful. We looked at a number of existing homes but soon realized we wanted new. Robert then represented us with the builder and helped tremendously with the process going above and beyond expectation. We were house shopping in a neighborhood with both existing homes and new construction. We were in from out of town and Robert stepped in at the last moment when the realtor we had an appointment with had a family emergency. He showed us existing homes that met our criteria, and when we decided to buy new, he helped us through that process, including standing in for us at the walk through (with us via FaceTime) when we couldn't travel due to Covid restrictions. What a great Realtor to work with. We knew nothing about the area but Robert was very informed and we learned so much from him. We ended up buying a fixer upper and Robert helped us screen and hire contractors. He even met with the contractors for surveys as we were moving from out of the area and couldn't be there.
