I was only looking to rent, which made the timeline difficult as units go fast and we were too far away to see anything in person. Out of the dozen contacts I made, most returned my calls or emails with something to the effect of "Let me know when you're in the area," or "I can't really give you any info on our other listings or let you know about future ones - you'll have to check later." Robert was the exact opposite. He responded to my email correspondence the day after, and called me as well. That said, I still had a lot of questions, concerns, and general hesitation about things like price, neighborhoods, and the practicalities of living an urban lifestyle. Living downtown and specializing in downtown real estate, Robert brought a wealth of practical understanding and professional expertise. We visited the neighborhoods, we walk the streets, we looked at units high and low, with views of every cardinal direction. He was incredibly patient and attentive to what I reacted too. I was quickly convinced that just by virtue of having observed my reactions to various options he was more tuned into what I was truly looking for than I was. He was very receptive to drilling down and getting comps and background data on the properties I was most interested in. Robert needed to work through us initially and then we she arrived back to San Diego, she became his client. He handled working with all of us seamlessly.
