We were looking to purchase in the Little Silver / Red Bank area and in such a competitive market we wanted to move quickly, but make sure not to go too crazy! River helped us make competitive offers, but also was honest with us about property values in the area. On our first offer we agreed to not go any higher and were ultimately outbid - but it was a blessing in disguise and we eventually found the perfect place in Little Silver. ZillowVERIFIED I would give River 10 stars! River is an extremely friendly (and not at all pushy) realtor who takes the time to understand your needs. He never got tired of showing us as many homes as we wanted to see. Since we were moving from a different state, he went above and beyond to take videos of the neighborhood (apart from giving us video tours of the homes) and get more details about the homes we were interested in. He even helped us eliminate a few homes that had poor neighborhood rating. If you are looking to buy a home, I would whole-heartedly recommend River.

ZillowVERIFIED After interviewing seven realtors from seven realty companies I went with River Giberson with Century 21 to sell my home. Although most of the realtors were very nice, within a day or two of interviewIng - before I made my final decision he already had someone that was interested in seeing my home. The man was at work before I had made my decision as to which realtor to select. And it was a very hard decision between River and four other realtors. One was cancelled out because she did not take off her boots in my home and another had a ?select me or not attitude? and would not leave the comp information. The deciding factor was a coworker highly recommended River; he had used River before. My coworker had high praise for River and that he was a very trustworthy agent. I too recommended River and in my experience also found River to be very trustworthy. River is very easy to work with, resourceful, extremely professional, always responds if not immediately then very quickly and will lend a helping hand when needed. I also appreciate that River used other means to bring attention to my home broadening the target area for viewers.

ZillowVERIFIED I haven't found a home yet, but my experience with River has been so positive, I had to comment on it. I have been through about a dozen NJ agents and it's been an horrific process of agents putting in limited effort, failing to answer my questions, don't do what I ask or who prioritize their relationship with other agents over working for me. River has been the opposite. He is amazingly responsive, dedicated and realistic. If it is in his power to do, he does it. In fact, since my search area involves other counties, he's gone out of his way to secure me another agent for Burlington and insisted on speaking with them first to confirm their quality. Whether or not I but a house with River in Ocean County, it's been a pleasure to work with him.

ZillowVERIFIED This was a very challenging sale. I had unusual issues with basement oil tank which led to months of delays. I believe that it was Rivers communication with the other broker and potential buyers that saved the deal! I was also extremely happy that when first property for me to buy fell through River was able to find me another home quickly in the same location. Also, every time I was in contact with Century 21 and their staff (Middletown NJ office) I was treated respectfully and turn around time was quick. I would most definitely suggest that if you are selling, buying or both you have River Giberson as your agent!

River grew up in the area we moved into, so he has extensive knowledge and first hand experience with the neighborhoods we were researching. That was a tremendous help during the many texts & emails we had long distance. We were purchasing a house from across the country, so time & distance were some obstacles to deal with. River was extremely patient with setting up walk throughs with my family members, dealing with texts & phone calls outside of normal business hours, and coordinating appointments last minute when we were able to fly in to see homes ourselves. He was always so professional, patient and understanding of our circumstances. River is also incredibly generous with his time. He attended appointments when it wasn't necessary for him to be there, so we always felt we were in good hands and he was thoroughly aware of the entire process of our home purchase. River goes above and beyond! He is quick to answer all modes of communication, will get back to you as quickly as possible if it's an answer he needs to get from someone else, and keeps you aware of the status of any pending issues. We never felt we were lacking any information or having to chase it down. He's an excellent communicator! Purchasing a home is such a major life decision. River made the process so much easier. He was extremely accommodating & understanding of our particular situation and made great efforts to make the transition as seamless as possible. We would absolutely recommend River to others, and also call upon him again for any future real estate needs of our own!

He was very knowledgeable about the area - providing insight on trends in the area that could affect resale down the road which helped guide my decisions. He answered very one of my questions fully and patiently, and followed through on any request I made very quickly. What I really appreciated about River was that he didn't push me one way or the other on any critical decisions - and made it a point to give me some metrics that allowed me to make the best decision for myself. Even when I changed my mind a few times, he worked harder to find me the home that was right for me. Never once did I feel River was pushing me in any direction that wasn't in my best interests. To me this is an extremely valuable trait to have in your realtor. I would definitely use River again.

ZillowVERIFIED From the moment I signed the listing agreement with River, he basically took over all responsibility regarding every aspect of what turned out to be a very difficult sale. He found buyers, negotiated a fair price and was methodically hands on throughout the entire process until we closed. He coordinated showings with my tenants, scheduled inspections and contractors, and was physically present for each step since I could not be. He did not involve me unless he absolutely had to, while at the same time keeping me updated as to status of where things were. I absolutely will use River again.
