ZillowVERIFIED Weve bought over a half dozen houses, and Rita may be the best agent weve ever had. She puts in the work. Her market analysis put our home at a much higher sale price that others agents we interviewed. So high in fact it scared us because, other agents apparently only went by internet estimates. We interviewed 3 realtors. 2 of them said we should sell our home, for 30 to 50 thousand less, that Rita had us selling it at. Rita actually went to the comps in the area. There was a distressed property on our street that because it sold for so much less, it brought the nearby houses internet estimates down. That house has a cliff in the back that is falling off... the internet is not the way to value a house. We had 3 offers. We took one that was pretty much what we were asking. Rita is a non stop machine, always keeping us informed and up to date. When Shopping for our replacement home, her knowledge of construction, saved us from making some costly mistakes. She never tried to direct on a particular house, only giving us pros and cons. We couldnt be happier, she helped us negotiate a great price on our new house too. At this time I decided NOT to sell my house, save for my dream house over next 10 years and then make the move. I valued how tactful was Rita at this time, no pushing, she replied with respectful acknowledgement of my decision in offering help if in need in the future. More than 6 months later I found my dream house, made an offer and needed agent to sell my "old" house. I interviewed two agents: Rita and the agent who sold me the new house. The advice, both offered was drastically different. Rita suggested to start with $339K, wanted to do some painting, carpet change. #2 $319K, sell as it is, looks great. I had no clue what is the best way to go, but decided to go with Rita because of Dave Ramsey endorsement. She was great with recommending carpet and painting crew, communicating updates at least once a week, arranging for staging and excellent, professional photo shoot. She patiently answered multiple neurotic questions of mine (I am a control freak, letting someone else take charge was a challenge). We invested about $3K in upgrades, got offer after 28 days. She was very helpful with communication with the sellers and getting the price right. Sold for $335K! Escrow closing tomorrow! I am very happy we decided Rita to represent us in this process. I am very thankful for all her help. She even got us a beautiful printed photo book with all our " old" house pictures. This was a very thoughtful gesture, I will appreciate in the future even more!
