The Riskin group is the premier real estate agency in Montecito and Santa Barbara and Sarah is, in my opinion, their best agent. She was realistic about the price we could get for our house and ended up being spot on. She arrived early for every showing and made sure the house presented itself the best it could. She opened doors, windows, and straightened up. When the showing was over, she closed everything and locked up. The folder she put together for the house was beautiful. Purchase: First, they brought us an off market home early in the year that turned out to be the perfect "forever home" for our family (after we renovate it of course). We were very pleased with the entire process of negotiation to purchasing the home. There are a lot of moving parts when buying a home in California and their team did a great job of orchestrating every little detail to ensure a smooth closing. Sale: Next, we hired Riskin Partners to market and sell our primary home (different from the one purchased above). They did a wonderful job of putting together the right marketing materials and strategy and organizing various showings and open houses. After we agreed to put the home on the MLS with Riskin Partners, we received interest and accepted an offer shortly thereafter. The entire sales process was stress free, organized and swift. There is something very special about this guy. We became fast friends and found every piece of information not just honest and practical, but profoundly thoughtful and tailored to our particular circumstances: Big cross-country move, starting a family, no real time line and, to begin with, a budget that was not really set in stone because we had a few properties on the East Coast that we were selling. Months passed along and with each new open house we got to know more of the Riskin team. Again, exquisite. Slowly and surely, we narrowed our search down and with the help of their knowledgeable crew, we navigated through a few offers that didn't pan out, then we found the home of our dreams. Riskin Partners represented us perfectly to the sellers, helping us craft the right offers and counter offers until we reached a deal that was fair, quick, and comfortable. ZillowVERIFIED Riskin Partners listed and sold Bates Ranch House. The property had been in the Bates family continuously since 1882. Overlooking Rincon Point, ocean views include watching the surf break. Having been built in 1928, Bates is one of best examples of an early California Ranch House. The charm and setting of the property are unique. At the same time the early vintage also led to numerous inspections, and to the freeway today causing road noise. The Riskin Team showed the house more frequently than any other property they listed.
