ZillowVERIFIEDAfter living in FL for 13 years, we decided to return to Shepherdstown WV. In October, during a visit we contacted a number of realtors and conveyed our housing desires. Only Richard Kendall followed up with us, sending us various listings over 7 months. Last month the perfect listing appeared and our offer was accepted. Richard helped us every step of the way as we prepared for inspections and settlement. Being at a distance in FL complicated things but Richard stayed on top of all the issues and final settlement was handle smoothly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Richard Kendell to anyone seeking to buy or sell a home in WV.
ZillowVERIFIEDToday I settled on a new smaller home that suits my needs. Richard was very helpful in getting this purchased closed. He stayed in contact daily and provided all the information I needed to settle. I cannot begin to describe the knowledge he possesses about real estate. I was so impressed by his professionalism that I enlisted him to list my old house and to date he has been remarkable in listing, photographing, and marketing my home. If you want an agent to go the extra mile contact Richard.
ZillowVERIFIEDRichard was supportive and absolutely delightful to work with. I was not the easiest client, but he was wonderful and patient throughout the process. The closing was a breeze!!
ZillowVERIFIEDRichard is a true professional. He gave us great advice from offer through to closing. He stayed on top of all changes during our long closing process and made us feel comfortable. Richard is terrific. I highly recommend him.
ZillowVERIFIEDI cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Richard Kendall. He was my realtor for the purchase of a new home, and then for the sale of my previous home. He is very knowledgeable about the market, and made a number of great suggestions for how to sell the property. He is detail-oriented, kept me apprised of upcoming deadlines and what was needed to meet each of those. He is not one to push his opinions, but instead would weigh the pros and cons to determine how I wanted to proceed. I found him responsive to all of my questions and concerns, and he worked with my schedule. I would certainly retain him again if I had to do the purchase/sale all over. I highly recommend him for your next sale or purchase!
ZillowVERIFIEDRichard was everything I expect from a realtor. He promptly sent me properties to review as they came on the market and accommodated my schedule for showings. He would discuss with me the pros and cons of each property without trying to sway my opinion one way or the other. Once I selected a property, he efficiently managed all of the details, from contract formation to the final closing. He was an advocate for my position, responsive, thorough and attentive. I highly recommend him for your next sale or purchase!
ZillowVERIFIEDRichard was very easy to work with and very professional. I liked how calm he was through the whole process. Our house sold quickly and we had to do a good bit as well. We worked well as a team and got it sold. We would highly recommend him.
ZillowVERIFIEDQualify experience as a solo , first-time buyer. Richard was most responsive with any queries of my recent purchase of the townhome. Would definitely recommend him to others.
ZillowVERIFIEDIt was a true pleasure working with Richard. He is an experienced and knowledgeable professional and a respectful and thoughtful person. We greatly appreciated his valuable service in helping us sell our property and would highly recommend him to anyone.
ZillowVERIFIEDRichard was recommended to us by a good friend, and we could not have been more pleased! His marketing is amazing, and he was able to sell our house very quickly during one of the most difficult periods of time ever to sell a home. He is fun to work with, very professional, and know this business!! Thank You, Richard A. Kendall! Forever Grateful!
ZillowVERIFIEDRichard Kendall was our real estate agent when we were looking to buy a home in the Shepherdstown area. We?re an older couple approaching retirement and had a long list of non-negotiable requirements. Over a period of six months Richards patiently (and without pressure) worked with us to find the perfect home. I?d say that all told we examined either online or in person over 100 different homes located anywhere from Martinsburg to Charlestown to Berkeley Springs to Shepherdstown proper. In every case Richard would patiently point out the pros and cons of each home with respect to our carefully selected buying criteria. As we entered the 7th month of our home search, Richard identified a perfect home for us located on the Potomac River with spectacular views and within our budget. When this home immediately attracted competing offers, Richard guided us through the competitive bid process and ultimately helped us purchase the perfect house. My wife and I could not be happier and no we could not have achieved the desired result without Richard?s assistance. We highly recommend Richard Kendall for your real estate needs.
ZillowVERIFIEDRichard did an excellent job with the sale of my property. His marketing and media tools are effective and informative. His experience and connections in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and WVa ended up landing us a buyer from London. He?s a great listener and his advice was helpful. I felt confident that he had all the details taken care of. Thanks Richard!
