ZillowVERIFIED From the moment my husband Mike and I met Rich, we loved working with him. He didn't make us feel like just another customer or house sale to profit off of. He was friendly, personable, and always listened to what WE wanted. Rich helped us find the home that we are right now starting to raise our daughter in, and it was only because of him that this happened. To begin, Rich sent a list of homes to look at, and this was done pretty consistently based on an assessment of our preferences and areas we desired. From the moment we saw the house we wanted to see, to the point where it became the house we wanted to buy, Rich was there helping us through and in the fastest most efficient way possible. He got an appointment for us to see our home immediately and when we wanted to make an offer right away, he coached us through, especially since there were two other people/families putting in offers. Not only did we land the house the same day as our offer, but he helped us get the inspection done the next day, as well as helped us get set up with a lawyer and mortgage company (this was only after asking if we needed it, not selling or pushing in any way). Rich continued to be with us every step of the way; we could contact him by phone/text and he would get back to us always as soon as possible and with what we felt were upfront and honest answers. We saw our home on June 7th and closed on August 15th. Rich was there at the walk through, closing, and was smiling ear to ear just like us when we walked away with the keys. I am certain to some this sounds cheesy or almost like a made up fantasy, but this was just our experience and perspective when working with Rich. If you need someone to hire, Rich will get you the home you want by addressing YOUR needs and preferences, making sure you are satisfied one way or another. I can't imagine using another realtor again; if we ever leave this wonderful home that we bought for our baby girl, we're going to call Rich first and foremost. ZillowVERIFIED We engaged Rich to help us list our home just to test out the market. After having a in-depth conversation with us about our home and overall valley stream real estate market, rich provided with a very realistic price estimate for our sell price. He brought home listing of currently on market as well recently sold home within our area to make the best case for the pricing estimate and realistic time frame for expected sale. Afterall, pricing does makes a huge difference in your home sale. After listing for just under a week, we already had an offer that was for almost full price of the listing and we credit that to a proper listing price. In Short, we didn't have to wait for 6 months to sell, we had an accepted offer in one week. We were very happy with that as it made it easier for us to shop for our new home as well. We also acquired Rich's services as our buying agent to deal with a very difficult and annoying sellers agent for our new home. We are glad that we did because we know we would've lost patience with that man right away but somehow Rich was able to keep his cool thorough out the negotiation process and now we are in our beautiful new home that we very much love.We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to sell or buy a house. ZillowVERIFIED To be honest, I was in a bind. I moved out west a few years ago and a realtor rented my house out to the "tenant from hell" who not only didn't pay but she and her family destroyed my house. A Nassau County building inspector put huge signs on the house saying it was "uninhabitable." I let the house sit vacant for nearly a year. I didn't know where to turn. I was looking at Zillow and saw Rich's profile. I contacted him and he was unbelievable. He has a nice calming way about him and he really knows his stuff. He looked at the house, had a contractor friend come in and give him an estimate of the work needed to get it up to code and to be sold. He discussed selling it as is and after repairs. He brought investors, contractors, and hopeful homeowners to see the house. He was able to sell it at a reasonable price and he is a very honest, upright, knowledgeable broker. If I were looking for a broker on Long Island for any reason, I would only go to Rich Marin!

ZillowVERIFIED We used Rich to buy our first house. He was very responsive to what we were looking for and showed us everything that was available in our price range. He was very knowledgeable of the community, he went as far as to drive us around and show us some of the benefits of Valley Stream, like the pool/park and the train station so I can get to work. He helped us through the whole process of buying a house starting with helping us get preapproved for a loan all the way till the day we went to closing. Rich kept us in the loop on everything in regards to the owners accepting the offer all the way to finding out when we would close. Once we found the house we loved Rich helped us negotiate it for us to a price we felt comfortable with the payments.
