ZillowVERIFIED I know people look at 5 star reviews as exaggerations and may dismiss them. Don't. Renee was our agent through an exceedingly (and surprisingly) difficult close as we sold our home. She was an amazing partner through that process as we were out of state and dealing with a lot of unexpected issues through the process. She went above and beyond and was available to us through the whole process right up through recording. She was a strong advocate and she has a long working knowledge of the Sacramento market and all the players involved in the home selling/buying process. Always a straight shooter, knowledgeable, professional and available around the clock. Side note: Reviews are useful, but INTERVIEW a few realtors before you hire one. Ask questions on topics that are important to you. Hire the best agent for you - if Renee is in that mix - dont be surprised if your choice becomes much easier than you thought. A trip to her website showed that she understands how to use marketing/social media to her buyer's benefit. I called her and she explained her plan for marketing our property. I told her that I didn't think open houses were very successful; we had two with another agent and few showed up, mostly neighbors. She shared that she sent over 600 invitations out to her last open house and that she often gets a buyers from them. Who sends out 600 invitations to an open house? Renee does! While the others were somewhat lackadaisical, Renee' layed out a specific plan and timeline to get our house sold and boy did she deliver!! While others were pricing our house what I felt was way under market, Renee' came in with a price which more accurately reflected the current market..... and I'm talking $20-$30K above the others. I needed someone who not only really knew her business, but who was impeccably honest, trustworthy, direct, patient and kind. I found all of the above in Jenny. She steered me through every step, and a few missteps on my part as well. She was always clear and honest, explained everything to me in terms I could easily understand and she had my back through the whole process. She was super creative about looking for ways for me to be competitive in a very tough market for buyers. One thing I really appreciated - there are so many decisions to make when you are buying a home, and if you've never done it before, it can be totally overwhelming. Jenny was expert at explaining my options, the pros and cons, and the possible outcomes of different choices. She never told me what to do, but she really helped me understand the implications of each decision. She is also just very nice, personable, kind and patient - oh, so very patient! Unlike so many other realtor's who tried to get the listing and saw me as a listing, Renee' saw me as a person faced with sentimental challenges and gave me the time, space and insight needed to manage the process to its successful conclusion. She clearly understood the market. If I had taken her advice sooner the house would have sold sooner but she allowed me to do what I deemed necessary. She staged it beautifully. Because the house was empty we had a squatter. She solved that problem and the squatter was arrested. Renee' came highly recommended and that recommendation lived up to it's billing.
