Buying a multigenerational home is complicated:different opinions, emotions, even contradictions, and Regina handled all of that with grace. She gave us the honest truths we needed to hear while also being sensitive to how emotional the process can be. What makes Regina truly unique is that she is bilingual in Mandarin and English, and bi-cultural. That was huge for us. So many of the challenges in home buying come down to nuances, communication, and trust. These things that often become the biggest hurdles. Regina bridged all of that seamlessly, which gave our whole family confidence. Our journey was not easy. We wrote multiple offers, had more than one accepted, and even backed out of escrow after inspections. There were highs, lows, and plenty of drama. But Regina stuck with us through it all. She is patient, professional, and always looking out for our best interest. Thanks to her deep knowledge of the Irvine market and her strong relationships with local agents, we were often one step ahead. For example, she got us in to see more one homes that had just fallen out of escrow before the MLS was even updated, that kind of edge makes all the difference. At the end of the day, this experience reminded us that the things worth having in life are rarely easy. Buying a home is no different. You want to go through it with the right professional, someone capable, trustworthy, and, honestly, someone you like. For us, that person was Regina. ZillowVERIFIED Buying a home in the competitive Orange County market is always difficult. Buying a home during Covid was difficult X 10. Regina to the rescue! We'd been looking for our forever home for more than two years, so Regina knew us, our taste and our budget very well. When our new home was listed Regina called within minutes of the new listing showing up on MLS to get an appointment for us to see the house. We walked in and toured the property, needed to see it again so Regina got us a second look appointment. She works well with sellers or buyers agents, always making a good impression for herself and for us. She takes the time to speak with the listing agent and usually finds out a tidbit or two that will help when it's time to negotiate, and this is incredibly important! When we put in our bid Regina kept us informed on the sellers decision, and when we got the home she really swung into action to help us through inspections, close of escrow and our move. Going through this process you really need someone on your side, and our experience with Regina Chen was 100% positive.
