Ray Rivera

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Ray moved to Charlotte, NC at the age of 17 and relocated to the Richmond area at the age of 18. In pursuit of a better opportunity, Ray found himself in property management. During a relocation, his family lost out on what they believed was their perfect home. Being left with the feeling that better coaching and consulting could've avoided this- Ray went "all-in" and jumped headfirst into real estate in June 2014.

After working with two very successful Real Estate teams in the Greater Richmond area, Ray felt that he wanted more than sales- he wanted genuine relationships and he wanted to be more than just a sign in the yard for his sellers. Priding himself in finding his clients aesthetically pleasing homes, he truly enjoys finding a great "deal" and negotiating them for the best value possible. With years of property management experience, as well as having worked with a team who specialized in new construction, Ray began working with investors in finding longtime investments including buy & hold strategies, 1031 exchanges & "flipping" strategies. He loves providing this unique knowledge to his clients whether they are buying or selling- long term wealth can be obtained through real estate and anyone can do it with the right team.

Consulting and educating are principles in his practice. Understanding a client's needs and wants are important, as well as educating them on key factors such as market timing, and, investments that can be made to optimize their resale value. Only through understanding what our clients want and need, can we then only begin implementing the property strategies to achieve those goals. Ray is always striving to be more than mediocre and stops at nothing to find his clients their dream home- whether that means cold calling or going door to door to find the "impossible".

Having come from humble beginnings, Ray began wanting to provide a better option to his clients as well as wanting to create a positive name for himself. Knowing little to no one in the field, he has created a very honest and trustworthy name for himself. In August 2018, Ray and his wife Gabby welcomed their first child together. Shortly thereafter, Ray faced his hardest battle yet when his son, Vincent, was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect that required an immediate open heart surgery. A fighter just like his father, Vincent is now a very happy and healthy baby boy.

Ray's ultimate goal in life is to utilize his hardworking and driven work ethic to provide the best opportunities for his friends, family and for those that have given him a hand up- including every one of his clients.
