I was moving in from out of state (CA) and was not familiar with the area or amenities. The market in Carrollton for renters is highly aggressive and after missing a number of prime homes we contacted Joy for help. We wanted to stay in Carrollton and quickly found out the market for buyers is even more cut-throat than it was for renters. Once we had an idea of what we wanted we hit the ground running! Between my schedule and my husbands there is a small window that we can both look at houses together, so it was a blessing to work with Joy since she can rely on her husband Ray to meet us when she had other obligations. It was like getting two realtors for the price for one. Between the two of them and Rhonda we could always get a hold of someone to answer any and all questions (and as first time buyers we had a MOUNTAIN of them!!!)! Ive heard horror stories and cautionary tales about how hard buying a house is, but I can now safely say it wasnt as stressful as Id anticipated.
