The property I was selling was badly in need of renovation and was further complicated by the fact I was an out of state seller. I needed a realtor I could completely trust and rely on. After only an initial consultation, Ray got right to work. Within 24 hours, Ray conducted a thorough walk thru and provided me with a comprehensive remodel plan and budget. At every juncture, Ray provided me with updates and pictures. He consulted with me on any detail changes and always worked within my specifications. Finished product was beautiful and on budget! Ray worked diligently to find qualified buyers including using social media. He followed through on every lead and was always responsive to my calls and emails. Ray provided me with expert advice and honest guidance throughout the entire selling process.

I was looking for someone, all of the above, who shared my philosophy about life, enough so the experience of buying a home would be from the heart - a happy story. Otherwise - why? Why have something lovely that you acquired that leaves a sour taste in your mouth, mind and emotions just to live there? Ray was patient and wise through the tough times, when I had no idea how I would find, let alone afford it. But I did. It wasn't Ray's find - but it was a short sale, and needed someone with Ray's experience and style. It was potentially a particularly adversarial situation, but Ray didn't allow it to be, and kept the situation dignified at all times. Not only that, but through his patience and keen abilities, the price was reduced $35,000, and Ray kept coming up with little ways to save me money. He proved that one can be a gentleman AND be assertive with grace. Time and time again he saved the day for me during those 5 1/2 months - but in the end, I had what I wanted: a beautiful, human story, a home way beyond my wildest expectations and dreams-come-true, and a friend with impeccable integrity.
