He used that information to create a customized online search where we rated dozens of homes available in the area. After reviewing all of those homes, we visited a few of our top ranked locations with Ray. He pointed out so many things to look for in a house that we had not considered before, and that made a huge difference for us in the search for our home.Once we had walked through a few houses with Ray, we had a much better idea of what we were looking for, and so did he. I found him when I said we were interested on a house he was selling, but that wasn't the right house for us anyways. Ray took the initiative to show us a bunch of houses that we could learn what is important and not in our home buying process. He let us choose any that we wanted to see and worked around our schedule for showings! Our backyard really won us over for our new house! He was friendly, kind, and made it personal to us, not just wanting to get a sale. I was able to have many realtors recommended to me and after interviewing all of them, we decided to move forward with Ray. I am glad that we did, our experience was amazing. I am known to be particular and I had many questions and concerns about our future home. Ray was thoughtful, patient, and most importantly not pushy at all. He took the time to listen to our desires and then gave exceptional advice as we looked at home after home after home. You can tell that he has at least two priorities that I noticed which are: make sure that the clients are getting what they asked for, and not rushing them into a decision. This may seem like something simple, but the last thing you want when making such a big decision is feeling rushed into doing something you may not be ready to do and additionally we found that we had forgotten some of our priorities after looking at so many homes. I was astounded at the details that Ray constantly reminded me of and actually got us to slow down a little bit when we were feeling frustrated after looking at so many homes and spending so much of our free time with the home search. ZillowVERIFIED We interviewed Ray and two other agents when we decided we were ready to sell. He seemed to have a good combination of knowledge and experience, and he was easy to talk to. Ray gave us very specific suggestions about what we needed to do to get our house listing-ready, and answered our (many) questions along the way. We listed on a Tuesday and had a contract by Saturday. It was a whirlwind, but Ray worked with us to manage showings and keep our sanity as much as possible. Ray also helped us find our next home in Oak Ridge, and we were able to close both on the same day. We will definitely call on Ray again if we decide to move.
