This was the second property they helped me with and I'm glad I used them because there were some issues with the building. They arranged for me to view the property with my contractor to asses the work that needed to be done, which allowed me to get a credit back for repairs. During the final walk through, the sellers left a lot of junk behind so Dawna worked with the attorney to get a substantial additional credit for a junk removal service. ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I have worked with Ray and Dawna (and Katelyn) in the past, so when my husband found a house in St. Charles on a snowy, cold, Friday morning in February, he texted Dawna. It was no surprise that Dawna was able to get us in to see the the house that night! We fell in love and did not hesitate to put an offer in. Dawna and Ray both worked their magic and got our offer on the table by 10p.m. Less than 24 hours later, our offer was accepted! Ray and Dawna then came out on Sunday to help us prepare to put our house on the market. However, we didnt even get a chance to put our house on the market because Ray and Dawna ended up dual-representing us and our friends who ended up purchasing our old home. ZillowVERIFIED We chose Ray & Dawna after interviewing several different agents -- they had a combination of competence and classiness that gave us confidence in them. They made a couple of great recommendations for how we should prepare our town home for showing, and in general the feedback we received from potential buyers showed their ideas were right on. We asked them for referrals to painters; both the men we requested quotes from seemed great, and the one we chose to do the work did an excellent job in a short amount of time. In addition when hail damage occurred to the home while it was on the market, he referred us to a contractor (also known to Ray & Dawna) who oversaw new window installation and roof repairs for our entire complex, coordinating with multiple insurance company adjusters. What I mean to say is that Ray & Dawna belong to a network of excellent people.The photos on line and in the glossy brochure left in the town home for prospective buyers to take with them as a reminder were really sharp and showed off the home to good advantage. Because we moved our furniture out before putting the place on the market, Dawna worked with a vendor who does virtual staging -- adding fixures digitally -- with results that were impressively realistic.Throughout the process Ray & Dawna were responsive, straightforward, relaxed and personable. They conveyed thank you notes to prospective buyers after showings if we asked them to and once or twice, since we were not living on the property, they stopped by to check on a couple of things for us.As time went on they made appropriate suggestions about price reductions to help generate interest in our listing. When it came to negotiating the sale they were right there minute by minute on into the night helping us find a way to agreement. The proof of the pudding is that we sold -- now our retirement home is the only place we own and a new couple is delighted to have a beautiful town home to call their own.All in all our experience with Ray & Dawna was excellent and they get our top recommendation.
