ZillowVERIFIED All the reasons for not wanting an agent kind of went away when we met Randy. Not once have we felt pressured by him to buy a home, that allowed us to really look for a home we love. I'm amazed by how much patience Randy has with us, it took us over a year to buy a home. I honestly felt he was always genuinely on our side because he has always given us objective feedback on the home. Examples include whether we were paying too much, or paying too little for it. When it came time to write the contracts and cover letters, he would provide us with great feedback. When we were in contract, Randy was with us all the way through. He helped literally with everything from termite inspections to coordinating repairs. ZillowVERIFIED Although I've known Randy for most of my life, when my wife and I first decided to sell our second home I contacted a different agent that had been recommended to me by a family member who is a broker. I sent an email and text and never heard back. After waiting a couple of days I looked at the great reviews Randy has here on Zillow and sent him a text message. I heard back from him about 15 minutes later and met him at our home about an hour later. I found all of the communications from Randy to be very prompt, even during a week he was on vacation and we had to negotiate between a couple of offers. This was a tremendous help.Randy helped arrange for some painting and clean-up work and was helpful in recommending what we should fix and what we should not bother fixing. Randy worked hard in showing the home and kept us informed of buyer interest, etc. When we accepted an offer he helped us very much in negotiating with the buyer who ended up being a bit difficult. We got past that by looking at the "big picture" with Randy helping a great deal in that process. We also let Randy pick the escrow agent so that we would not run into problems there and his recommended escrow officer did a great job for us.We would readily use Randy again if the need arose and recommend him highly.

ZillowVERIFIED I contacted Randy in late 2012, not yet ready to buy a home but had many questions, being first time buyers, that the books we bought couldn't answer. He was patient, insightful, and had a wealth of advice to share with some things that we could do to get prepared to get into the market. He wasn't pushy at all, and took a lot of time with me instead of rushing to be rid of someone who obviously wasn't ready. A bit ahead of schedule, we had a few bills paid off and had saved up a bit of money, so I again contacted Randy in May of 2013. He seemed genuinely happy to hear from me, and I let him know we wanted to look at a few homes we had seen on Zillow. He was extremely flexible and willing to do whatever it took to fit our schedule. And, of course, I still had a million questions which he answered expertly and honestly. When we got to the homes, he let us know what to expect and some great tips on what to do (and what not to do) when viewing each place. It really seemed like we were window shopping with a friend we had known for years. It made it all so much less stressful than I had anticipated. After a few rounds of viewings, we found our home. Randy knew the process inside and out and made the whole process simple and explained each step with ease. He even got us a credit from the sellers for a small roof problem (a few missing tiles) which was a great help. Even now, a year and a half later, I still contact Randy on a regular basis, with questions about the house, upgrades, repairs, etc.. He always answers the phone or texts, or returns an email within a day, and gives me great advice and seems happy to hear from us. I am a hard man to please, but when I am, I am happy to admit it. Randy went above and beyond our expectations, and I would not only refer him to a friend or family, I would *insist* they talk to him first. Not a day goes by that I don't wake up in our beautiful home and know how lucky we are to be here, and we have Randy to thank for it!

My particular financial situation proved to be very challenging as I was clearing everything through the bank process... however Randy was very patient and worked with the seller's realtor to ensure we wouldn't lose the deal as my bank was taking an extensive amount of time (months) to process my FHA loan.
