Ramon and Carey have been in Washington State now for over 40 years & have raised their son here in the Tahoma School district in Maple Valley. At that time, they lived on a large property with horses, sheep, dogs, cats and any strays they could find. After 17 years they then moved to a property they owned on Shadow Lake and now live in a community near Lake Sawyer in Black Diamond. They know the area & most areas well. When they are not working, they love to spend time with friends and family, cooking, enjoying the great outdoors in the Pacific Northwest, as well as fishing and golfing. Both have backgrounds in hospitality management making them excellent realtors, bringing both that hospitality feeling to the business as well as their immense portfolio of business skill. Ramon attended Cal State Northridge where he earned a business degree. He went on to run and eventually own his own restaurant. Carey attended the University of California Santa Barbara for her accounting degree and also earned a degree in Hospitality Management at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. Carey has worked with major restaurant groups throughout the country helping to grow their businesses and ended up as the Director of Operations for a large restaurant group here in the PNW, and that is where the two of them met. After years in the that business Ramon left to pursue a career in Real Estate inspired by Careys mom. His first year he received his first real estate reward as "Rookie of the Year" with John L Scott. From that point on Ramon was off and running with his real estate career. In 2008 Carey joined his real estate business and also became a licensed mortgage officer, then in 2014 joined Ramon full time and started building the Ramon Carey Real Estate Group, a.k.a. "The Helpful Home Team."
