ZillowVERIFIEDRachel Smith was a wonderful realtor to work with. Courteous, friendly and professional throughout from the first meeting through the closing. Rachel promptly set up tasks (e.g. Home Inspection) and followed through on all deliverables. In addition, Rachel was flexible enough to move up the closing almost 4 weeks to meet our needs. I would gladly use Rachel for any further moves or recommend her to any prospective home buyers.

ZillowVERIFIED Rachel (and Sam) were fantastic. My husband and I had a pretty good idea of what we were looking for, so once we connected with Rachel the process went quickly and smoothly. She began by sending us many listings to review based on our criteria. After narrowing our options Rachel and Sam took around to see our favorites. Since we were looking at raw land, all along the way they had background knowledge regarding the cost of the infrastructure that would be needed for each property. They treated us like family and I would not only recommend them, but I would work with them again.

ZillowVERIFIED Rachel has helped our entire family sell and buy homes. We had confidence that she could sell our home quickly and at a price that was within market demands. She walked us through the process and gave us options to consider and expert advice when offers came in to buy our home within a week of listing. When the first offer fell through, Rachel was able to pivot and get our home sold once again within a week. We went to closing without a hitch. Her experience and vast knowledge of the real estate market in Franklin County Vermont gave us the edge we needed. She is friendly and easy to talk to. We highly recommend her services.

ZillowVERIFIED Rachel was extremely helpful through every step of the process of buying my first home. She is very knowledgeable of the area and was able to find and show me many houses within my budget. Since this was my first time buying a house, I had a lot of questions along the way, and Rachel was able to answer all of them and ensure that I fully understood every aspect of purchasing a home. She made buying a house a lot less daunting than it could have been! I would recommend her to anyone buying property in Vermont!

ZillowVERIFIED She had my listing for a year, during that time never promoted property beyond local MSl, never showed it and never returned a phone call. She deferred to tenants who falsely assured they would buy property. Listed anew with another broker who proved to be not much better. Eventually because of Legal fees damage and lost revenue due to tenants, I came faced with near term bankruptcy. All of a sudden, the new broker and Smith co brokered a sale which cost me a loss of over 65k. I had no choice.

ZillowVERIFIED Rachel was extremely knowledgeable about the area our condo and having a list of prospective buyers she was able to sell it quickly. She was very easy to get a hold of if we had questions. I have had to buy and sell quite a few homes in Connecticut and Florida and this won was the easiest one I have done. Thanks Rachel

ZillowVERIFIED Rachel looked at quite a number of homes with us and finally helped us to find the right one. As first time home buyers we were pretty picky. She was also great with working through our crazy schedules and was very flexible. Rachel was very accommodating to our little one and would highly recommend especially if you have kids! (very breastfeeding friendly office!)

ZillowVERIFIED I highly recommend Rachel for her knowledge of the market, the people she represents, both buyers and sellers and of course her professionalism. She sold my mothers home and dealt with mom with care, concern and respect. We received two offers on the house the week it went on the market. I attribute that to the fact that Rachel really knows her clients and the market. I highly recommend Rachel Smith for both buyers and sellers.

ZillowVERIFIED We chose to have Rachel Smith as our realtor, and we were so glad we did! We bought our first home just a few weeks ago, and Rachel helped us every step of the way. She was very informative. She picked out great houses for us, and we actually bought the first one she showed us! She knew exactly what we wanted in our home. We are so happy in our new dream house.

ZillowVERIFIED We have had 2 transactions with purchasing property this year. The first was a very long and complicated short sale that we purchased. Rachel Smith was the sellers agent, however, our agent was less than adequate to help us through the process so she helped them and us. I could not believe how knowledgable she was with short sales and this short sale also had leins that needed to be taken care of before the closing and she was able to negotiate all of those. The second transaction we used Rachel Smith for our agent. She was once again a miracle worker and that purchase was completed in record time and with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. I would, and have, highly reccommended Rachel Smith. If you are looking to buy or sell, she is your agent, I would look no further. she is honest, dependable and hard working, not attributes you will find in many other real estate agents, as we found out first hand.

ZillowVERIFIED Rachel Smith is a miracle worker and an absolute godsend. My husband and I were in desperate need of getting out of a rental with a busted furnace. It was the middle of winter and we had a three month old at the time. She knew exactly the property that would work for us, and six weeks later, we were moved into our condo that we absolutely love. She is the single most networked person that I have ever met. She knows the homes, businesses and people of this area so well that it's hard to believe any one person can hold that much knowledge! If ever my husband and I move, we're definitely listing our house with her.
