Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

2 most important things to remember when wanting to buy a home. First is, set the goal. Second is, work with a knowledgable agent that can walk you through goal planning, navigate how to achieve the goal, and beyond the closing table. That process needs to be seamless for you!

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Do not over price your property. Price it where the market is. If it commands more, you will get it. If it doesn't atleast you have the highest market price listed. Over pricing WILL eliminate able buyers and will reduce the number of showings. No matter if the market is a buyers market or a sellers market. Working with a knowledgable agent that understands how to vet buyers and their lenders, and is honest. If an agent over promises and under delivers it is frustrating. Agents and Sellers need to be ready and comfortable with having an honest, direct, sometimes difficult conversations when the plan needs to be changed.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

I have worked with all clients. From first time home buyers that need to start in the planning stages, to those upsizing because the family is growing, or downsizing, relocation clients including military, clients looking to move up into luxury properties, or investors looking for their next house to hold and rent or to rehab and flip!

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

Our current market is a high stress sellers market. I love being challenge with the listing or the buyer.. Often times, in this market, winning offers is a challenge. I have been able to strategize with the lender and clients to write the best winning offer! I have also been able to vet and help the sellers choose the best offer when representing the sellers. My knowledge of the mortgage industry is vital to this being successful.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

I started in mortgage shortly after our daughter was born. I meet the CEO if a company that was helping families through Lease Options/Purchases. The plan was brilliant and it was rewarding to help people. With that, I create a credit improvement company to help families (starting in 2008 this was a rough time for families with job loss and sometimes home loss). Shortly after creating that I opened a branch of a mortgage banker and helped families recover from those losses.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

I have a Bachelors in Behavioral Science and a Certification as a Civil mediator. Believe it or not both of those come in handy when representing a seller or a buyer. I am a certified master financial coach and a certified personal life coach. I have a Texas Real Estate Brokers license, a GRI designation and additional training in listings and buyer representation. I am constantly completing continuing education classes that benefit my clients.

Rachel was a wonderful broker to work with, she made everything so seamless and was always willing to talk with anyone who might have raised any questions. I was not certain what questions to ask, and she seemingly read my mind and went ahead and covered those items with the interested parties involved. She was completely upfront and transparent the entire time we worked together, and answered all of my millions of questions within a super reasonable amount of time. I am a firsthand witness that when she is at the helm, she will get the ship to harbor! She managed to workout something for us that was seemingly impossible and we thought the dream of buying a home might be gone, and without her guidance I firmly believe we wouldve lost out on our first home. I couldnt recommend her enough!!!!

Rachel acted as both buying and selling agent for us. She did an amazing jobs on both sides; when our appraisal on the home we were selling came in lower than expected, she went to bat for us and presented comps and other information and we were able to get the appraisal increased. She was professional, and gave us great advise and guidance on both the sell of our home and the purchase of our new home. Cant recommend her enough.

We contacted Rachel about purchasing some land and eventually selling our house. Within days she had sent us dozens of choices of properties that were available! When we decided which property we wanted, Rachel Robertson handled the sale professionally and with great integrity, going above and beyond our expectations for a realtor. There is no realtor in Texas more loyal, capable, or tenacious than Rachel Robertson. My wife and I were looking for our first home in DFW and hired Rachel as our agent. During our initial meeting, Rachel was extremely attentive and asked specific, pointed questions to better understand our financial position, as well as the type of home and area we desired. It was clear that Rachel has an innate and unique ability to connect with and befriend people, hear their stories, and then apply her vast real estate knowledge to meet their goals. She proved to be a relentless advocate from the very beginning and worked tirelessly to locate properties, set showing appointments, and work with the loan officer to ensure we were in a good position for lending. Rachel was punctual, organized, proactive, and responsive. The home buying process truly became a team effort. This comprehensive approach removed a lot of unnecessary stress and provided my family with much needed security and comfort, especially in this extremely active housing market. If youre looking for a home in DFW, you will be hard pressed to find a more impressive and effective realtor. Rachel has earned my highest recommendation.

It is my pleasure to recommend Rachel Robertson as a realtor, for any individual or family searching for their dream home. Rachel was so kind and patient. She is highly attentive to all of your needs and wants -- (even when you dont know what they are). I never felt neglected -- I received immediate responses from her even if I called/emailed 10 times per day. She guided me through the entire process, from loan prequalification; searching for the right home; making the offer; and most importantly, closing the deal. Thanks to her expertise and knowledge, I am now enjoying my new home. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone seeking an experienced/expert real estate agent.

Rachel Robertson recently helped me sell my home in Fort Worth, TX. We currently live out of state and worried about selling from a distance. I cannot imagine a more awesome experience! Our situation was particularly complicated but she somehow uncomplicated it! She worked hard to get us multiple offers and present all options for our decision. I confidently recommend Rachel as a trusted and experienced real estate professional!

We can?t speak highly enough about Rachel, we feel so fortunate to have her as our realtor. We decided to list our house a week before Thanksgiving. Even though it was a really busy time of year, Rachel was very responsive. She came to our house and met with us the next day. She was very knowledgeable about the market, comparable sales and gave us a very realistic idea of how long it would take to sell our home. She arranged for a professional photographer to come take pictures and set up a virtual tour. We really appreciated Rachel taking the extra step to hire the photographer. The pictures he took put our house were amazing and definitely made our listing stand out from the rest! Thanks to Rachel?s hard work, we had offers right away. She was an excellent negotiator!! We definitely felt like it mattered to her that we get the best offer possible. She would not back down when the realtors came back time and again with counter offers, asked for inclusions and seller contributions. She knew what our limits were and held strong until we got what we wanted. We are currently in a rental while looking for the right home to purchase. Rachel was also invaluable in helping us find the right rental and make sure the contract was drawn up correctly. Even though there was no monetary benefit to her, she went above and beyond in helping us!! Rachel met with us and set up a home search so we get daily e-mails when houses come on the market that meet our criteria. She stays in contact with us regularly to see if there is anything she can do. We are picky buyers and probably difficult to work with but Rachel is always very professional and patient as we continue to search. The entire selling process was seamless and easy with Rachel. She made sure we knew what was happening, every step of the way from listing to inspection and through closing! And did I mention that she sold our house in the first few days it was listed?! Particularly amazing considering the time of year we listed it.If you are looking for realtor who is knowledgeable, professional, easy to work with and makes you feel at ease then Rachel is the realtor for you!! We recommend her to all our friends!!
