ZillowVERIFIED Pierre put up with a lot from me. There were many ups and downs whilst trying to secure a house. I have owned 14 houses in my life, and this was one of the most difficult purchases I've had. Several times I made bids on the same day as others, one counter offer said 50k non refundable deposit required with an offer, several houses didn't work out because of problems uncovered in inspections, and I was under the gun at the end, as my condo was under contract, and I became stressed beyond words. It was pretty crazy. I was perhaps not the easiest guy to deal with at that point. But Pierre calmly pushed on and on and on, steady under fire, until finally this place got a solid contract. He had to deal with me for months.... Of the very many agents I have had in my life, both buying and selling (perhaps 20 in all), he is the best by far in returning phone calls, or answering on first ring. I never once became irritated by having trouble reaching him. Great communicator. He is also fabulous with followup questions I regarding a property, or local law issues, etc. He is also extremely well connected with contractors, inspectors, insurance agents, etc. Most recommendations worked out well. A small reminder that it the buyer's responsibility to learn and know laws regarding issues involving pool fences, and permit requirements, and such, and not take advice from agents! Pierre was a great agent for me. I recommend him.

ZillowVERIFIED Picking the right agent can be difficult we went from general to specific - first pick the right firm in our case we went with Sotheby's. Next step finding an agent in the office who would listen to what we were looking for and someone who could get on board with our vision. After doing some research and a few calls we met up with Pierre Marc - immediately Pierre Marc was on board with our future plans and vision. Next Having a large office with reputable agents and a strong inventory is really helpful in understanding local style, life styles, trends and what's moving in a particular market. We also remained open to move in ready v renovation projects. And after meeting Pierre Marc - we had an agent who "got it" Pierre Marc and good for us, has a strong name in his local market and excellent working relationship within the Sotheby's office and many local agents. Pierre Marc understands the market and the area we really wanted to focus on; he stayed engaged throughout the process even though it took about 8 months for us to move from our initial call to closing on our new property. Many agents would have lost interest and patience but Pierre Marc kept sending us properties fitting the profile we had interest in specifically. We didn't just receive random MLS listings so that the agent appeared to be doing something. Pierre Marc helped us move through the process painlesslyaEUR"it was actually enjoyable. And big key point to us -- follow up skills; Pierre Marc did a great job in assisting us finding local specialists to get us going on our small renovation project.
