After meticulously researching and interviewing over a half dozen selling agents to sell our Crown Point home, Pete and Renata LaSalle had all the criteria we were looking for in a partner to get the job done! We wanted someone professional, knowledgeable, driven, honest, gave good feedback, had a precise marketing plan, fast at responding, and it would be a bonus if they were fun to work with over the time we'd be meeting our goals to sell the house quickly and at top dollar. They surpassed our expectations. We sold our home in less than 24 hours in a bidding war and got over-asking price. The pictures and video they took to market the home were excellent and I know did their part in showcasing the best features of the home to sell it FAST. As we were negotiating and finishing up the sale of the home, they were impressive with their communication and always on top and one step ahead of our questions. We are moving to Indiana from Illinois and had to use a different realtor in Illinois and let me tell you that it was like night and day between the two realtors! Pete was always there when we needed him and was always easy to get in contact with and helped guide us through the whole process! He even met one of the inspectors at the house for us because we are out of state! Without a doubt I would recommend him to anyone!

We had been looking at house's online for well over a year and when we decided it was time to buy, we called them regarding one of their listings. They set up the showing for us but it just wasn't what we were looking for. Seeing our disappointment, they suggested an REO home that was actually just down the street that had gone on the market the day before. Since we were in the neighborhood, we stopped and walked through! Well, they must have been listening to the desires we wanted in a home because THAT home WAS home! They negotiated, drew up the contract, and worked hard on our behalf. They explained things in layman's terms and actually took the time to make sure we understood. Even the office staff was helpful...excellent customer service! We've been in our home just about a month now and we couldn't be more pleased and grateful! This family is Home! When buying and selling houses, it's very important to have an agent that is knowledgable, aggressive and there when you need them. It's also important to have an agent that not afraid to be honest about your situation (value of your house, current trends, market) and it turn relay that information to you in a professional manner. ZillowVERIFIED As soon as a home came up with the "LaSalle Team" sign I contacted them and was told it was still in the pre MLS listing process. They told me it would be the following Monday before it would be listed. Luckily, I checked on the Friday before, had my loan approval papers in hand or cash whichever they preferred, went to look at the house, put in my bid and learned I did not get it. I got the feeling that this house had been sold before it even hit the market. Renata called my home and when I returned her call she said she did not know why she would've called me.

ZillowVERIFIED I contacted The LaSalle Team on a Friday after reading the positive reviews. I was looking for a buyer's agent for an investment property in which I was interested. Pete called me back right away, and had his partner Jim, the mortgage broker, contact me right away also. I asked Pete if he could show me a specific property, and he said yes, although he didn't seem too enthusiastic about it. He told me to call Jim, and that he would get back in touch with me. Well, Jim left me a message first, and when I called him back he didn't know who I was and didn't realize he called me first. I explained the information I found regarding financing, and he said he would research it and get back to me either Saturday or Monday. I didn't hear back from either of them, and by Monday I had already contacted the listing agent of the property in which I was interested, and found two lenders who only required 10% down for an investment property, which Jim insisted was not possible but he would research it. Needless to say I'm funded and ready, but will NOT be calling these guys back. Truly a disappointment.

ZillowVERIFIED I worked with Renata and let me tell you, she is a gem! I just happened upon the LaSalle team's website when I started our home search and I am so thankful that I did. From start to finish, Renata was on it. We were very happy with the negotiation she did, as well as the recommendation for Jim Forrest as their preferred mortgage broker. Jim and his assistant Christin closed our loan with ease, even though there were some issues that we had to take care of first. Renata was always available, by text, email, and phone to answer any questions. 90% of the time she would check in with me the exact day we would think, "hmm we haven't heard any updates," like she has ESP! I can't recommend this place enough, even the seller (who wasn't listed through Redkey Realty, was thankful that Renata was our agent, because she was accessible to them for their questions as well). If you are looking for a house in northwest indiana, use these realtors.

ZillowVERIFIED The home we wanted to see was listed through The LaSalle Team so we called and they took us out to see the property. We felt a little pushed to put in a bid on the home we liked but we knew we really wanted it so we put in the bid. I felt like we shouldn't have used the listing agent as our buying agent but it was our first home and we really didn't know any better. They really got everything done for us and quickly. We had some problems with getting the inspection done. But I feel like most of the problems I had I really had with HUD. This was just our first home and there was a lot I didn't understand and I didn't know what questions to ask so I felt in the dark sometimes through the process. All in all we got the house we wanted and for a fair price. We are very happy with the home!!!
