My husband and I were in the market to purchase a duplex with our close friends (and neighbors of many years). Our other friends had worked with Peter and referred him, so I already felt more comfortable. Peter is who he says he is and he comes through; he brings himself to the table and there are no secrets or shadiness in his intentions, though there were times we wanted more things in (formal) writing, which I think was difficult given the constant back and forth with the seller's agent and developer (phone, text, etc). He's excitable and passionate, very outgoing and personable, respectful, and honest. He has high standards for himself, for others, and for the craft of building and maintaining a lasting home. We have literally no other comparison, but from my understanding of a real estate agent, Peter went above and beyond just showing us a few houses and then bailing. He walked us though the entire contract of buying a house on our first in-person meet up and explained everything in detail. He also answered most, if not all, of our questions, even if it took some prodding. (I understand we're not his only clients, but we had a lot of questions and didn't necessarily fully trust the developer we were purchasing from.) Our situation was a bit tricky, and I think that given all the complexities, Peter was there through it all. We don't know what it was like working with the seller, but I will say that I am fortunate that I did not have to be the point of contact or person handling all the logistics and communication. He is super responsive and on top of the process from start to finish (and beyond), and I personally am so appreciative of him and his support through this very stressful and exciting time. We are in our home now, which we love, and he's still following up to get information we requested weeks ago!
