ZillowVERIFIED Pete Thorpe was recommended to us by a realtor friend when my wife and I were looking to move to Pennsylvania. After reaching out to Pete, he immediately took my call and spent some time getting to know what type of home my family was in the market for and the general areas where we were searching. Pete explained the ins and outs of the current market conditions and was spot on with his analysis, as we were soon to find out. Both my wife and I were experienced homeowners/buyers having moved to/from three states in the past, so we were informed and engaged in the process. Pete recognized early on the type of clients we were and knew our needs. Pete was quick to respond anytime we wanted to schedule an appointment to see a house, which was critical in the current seller's market and given the fact we lived over an hour's drive from the targeted area. When Pete wasn't available, he quickly found a colleague to attend a showing with us. We kissed a lot of frogs before we eventually found our forever home. And when we did, Pete guided us masterfully through the process and ensured the offer we presented was accepted. Through no fault of ours or the sellers, a third party problem presented itself a few days after the offer was accepted. Pete delivered the bad news to us in a professional manner and assured us he would explore every option available to him in order to see that the sale would go through. We later learned from the seller that Pete's calm but assuring professionalism was inspiration to the seller to stand strong in the face of the third party problem which was resolved in the mutual favor of us and the seller in a matter of three days. Pete was a rock. If you are looking for a realtor in the areas of York County, PA or Baltimore County, MD, I give Pete the highest recommendation I can offer. After selling/buying four homes over my adult lifetime, Pete was the best realtor with which I have had the pleasure to do business.

ZillowVERIFIED Pete is the absolute best realtor you could ever ask for. My wife and I just bought our first house, with absolutely no idea what we were doing or how anything worked. Pete walked us through every aspect of it and took the time to completely explain the answers to the million questions that we had. He would respond to us day and night to help ease our nerves and make sure we understood the process.Pete is also the king of the hustle -- the first house we tried to put an offer on put us in a tight space where we had to have our offer in with in 24 hours. Pete got as a contractor to do an estimate, got us a second walk through, and had all the paper work done in plenty of time for us to get our offer in.On the second house, we ended up having issues with the condo's insurance policy. In order to keep to our deadlines, Pete was running checks on his own time to help our loan agent get the papers she needed, and was making phone calls to anyone and everyone in order to make sure they were doing our paperwork as quickly as possible.Pete is not just a realtor. He understands every aspect of the home buying experience, and he will throw himself into any role, even if it isn't technically his responsibility, in order to help his buyer. He went above and beyond for us, and as young first time home buyers, it meant the world to us. We could not have asked for a better experience, and we could not recommend Pete more. Pete is a great realtor, but more importantly to us, Pete is an amazing person who cares about and goes out of his way for people.
