He extended an invitation to us to watch the 4th of July parade, which was later that week, on the front porch of his office (great seats!). After that very brief meeting, we made a mental note to keep Pete in the back of our mind in case we ever needed a real estate agent in Summit County. This summer we decided to purchase a second home in Summit County and we contacted Pete. He listened carefully to our wants and needs. ZillowVERIFIED Pete is really good to work with. As far as any real estate dealings in Breck or Summit County we are using Pete. He knows Breck well. He seems to know a lot about the different properties and locations. We very much appreciated that he listened to what we were interested in and what we were looking for. What we really liked was that he presented a good deal of info and facts and didnt try to bias our thinking. He let us determine from our perspective and based on our wants whether something was good, bad, or otherwise. If there was something that, based on his knowledge and perspective, was a real red flag he told us. And if we asked him his opinion he was very straight forward and honest. Pete knows a lot of people in the Breck. After our purchase we asked his recommendation for folks to do different kinds of work for us such as plumbing, electrical, and carpet cleaning. This was invaluable as everyone he recommended that we used has been really good. We will say it again, any future real estate dealings in Breck we are using Pete. We have and will continue to recommend Pete to those we know that are looking for a place in Breck. Couple of notes regarding the rankings: 1) scored Communication a 5 not because it was always aEURoeimmediateaEUR? rather because it was timely, and 2) we did not feel we could respond to the Negotiating Skills question as we did not directly observe this (please know that we ultimately purchased our property at the price we were looking for).

We contacted several real estate agents in Breckenridge (one of whom did not even bother to return phone calls or emails). Pete even though he was out of town, he took the time to respond to our email and we made plans to set up appointments. We conveyed our wish list including our price point to Pete. When we rolled in to town, we only had 1 day to view properties, so our time was limited. We ending up finding a property that "needed a lot of work". We agreed to put in an offer.
