Did you know that most real estate agents here represent the seller? We are different. When we show you a home that we have not listed, we serve as buyer’s agents, representing you, the buyer, and not the seller. This contrasts with most other salespeople and brokers who try to get the best price and terms for the seller.
Obviously it is extremely important to price a property correctly. Most real estate agents do not have the specific knowledge of the local market, and it is the market that sets the price a property will sell at, and not the agent. When you list with us you get our local knowledge, extensive experience, personal attention to detail, and marketing through the global Coldwell Banker network, the Long Island Board of Realtors MLS system, and the East End OREX/REALNET/HREO network.
We serve both buyers and sellers who are often referred by previously satisfied clients. Many of our clients reside out-of-state and know they can rely on our professionalism, knowledge, and communication skills.
We were contacted by a California resident to sell his inherited property in the Hamptons. Before listing the property, we discovered that the home was built in the early 1950's before zoning, a certificate of occupancy did not exist, and a shed was encroaching on the neighbor's property. With our knowledge of the community and zoning, we were able to find a former neighbor who would sign an affidavit attesting to the home's history. We arranged to have the shed moved to a conforming location. We then secured all the necessary permits required by the Town, and the sale closed seamlessly.
My father sold real estate in the Hamptons. When I was a child, I would accompany him on many of his journeys to properties throughout the East End. You can imagine the changes I have seen in this beautiful area. My grandfather & my great-grandfather were also real estate agents back in the day.
We have been buying, selling, and renting real estate in the Hamptons for over forty years with hundreds of transactions on both sides.
