The rest of the selling process went very smoothly as Paul kept me updated on each step. He provided gentle reminders of everything that I should have done before signing the final papers. It was a great selling process. Because the selling process went so well, I stayed with Paul as I searched for my next home. In a tough market, he was able to find me the home of my dreams. He listened to exactly what I was looking for and worked until he was able to secure the deal. He quickly responded to any questions that I had before, during, and after an accepted offer was on the table.. His professionalism and knowledge of the community, allowed me to connect with several outstanding people who assisted with some aspect of the new home. ZillowVERIFIED Paul helped my family & I both buy our current home & sell our prior home. With Paul as the listing agent, we were able to sell our prior home in an area that had many other homes listed at basically the same price. With his help & the tools he provided us, we were able to find our new home in the very small area we really wanted to move to. Without his help, I truly believe our new home would have been sold without us ever knowing it was for sale. But with his help, we made an offer on our new home that was accepted within 36 hours of the house being listed & it had other offers. His knowledge was also a great help in guiding us through the process of what to expect & what we needed to do after purchase agreements had been made, so everything was ready for the closing of both homes. Lots of details we probably would have missed without his help.

ZillowVERIFIED I rated Paul 5 stars on everything, not because I'm trying to rush through this review... but because he is that good. I'm a first time homebuyer that has about as much experience buying a home as a newborn has with riding a bicycle. I told Paul when I first spoke with him that with my busy schedule my wife and I could only meet with him on Saturdays. Paul met with us on at least two or three different Saturdays, as well as doing showings on a Sunday afternoon. He always had the time to answer our questions. In our first meeting, Paul went over the "basics of buying a home" and explained how the selling/buying process works. I could have been five years old and still understood what he was teaching me. We may or may not have broken the world record for how fast a home was closed (with financing), and Paul was on top of his game the whole time. He was promptly communicating any new information that came up and always answered any questions. If I had enough money to buy another house right now, I wouldn't even THINK of going with any Realtor other than Mr. Paul Canfield. Very highly recommended.

ZillowVERIFIED Paul went above and beyond in trying to market our unique home for sale. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, we were unable to find anyone to purchase the home. After taking it off the market due to inactivity, we were able to find someone on our own to purchase our home. We asked Paul to help us with the paperwork for the sale and he ended up going above and beyond. He helped with negotiations, tense moments, and all of the inspections and testing that had to occur. After seeing how much work is involved and how difficult it can be to sell a home on your own, I would never try to do that again and think that realtors are under-valued! The fact that Paul was willing to work with us even after taking our house off of the market shows that he really cared about helping us out.

He asked our goals, and then explained the scenarios involved with typical sales and his approach and gave us a choice. We chose his approach and within 2 weeks signed an accepted offer to purchase. ZillowVERIFIED I first met Paul when we lived up here 8 years ago. We were not really sure what we were looking for and it ends up we moved back to Indiana for a career change, but we liked how Paul was very open and honest and how he never pressured into something. When we moved up here last summer and decided that this is where we were going to be for awhile, I contacted Paul and told him that we were going to me in apartment for the first year but we wanted him to be our realtor and we were going to start looking in about 6-9 months. When we first started looking, Paul showed us every house we wanted to look at even though he knew that it was just not us. Paul had a house in mind for us, knowing us as well as he did, and when he showed it to us the search was over.
