Review Patty was a fabulous agent for us (buyers) in a tough market. We came to her as naive first time home buyers. She was always patient with us and made herself available for all of our questions, even during the late evenings and on weekends. Patty took us on tours of the bay area locations we were looking to buy and gave us her honest opinion about each open house we visited. She also provided us frequent listings for us to review. When it came down to making offers, Patty provided great insight into the process and other statistics (i.e. comparable home prices). Patty really shined during the bidding process. She was proactive with the seller's agent without being too pushy and was able to put us in a position to make a higher counter offer on our current home. We highly recommend her. And, she is just a great person to chat with overall!

Review I contacted Patty Hyun about a listing in Oakland and her response was incredible rude. I'm new in town and was trying to contact her but she didn't answers so I tried 4 times. I didn't leave a message because I don't have a phone number in the city yet. Her first words when she answered the phone were "why did you call me some many times, I was in a meeting and you got me in troubles". How I was suppose to know? I thought it was the phone number of an office. Worst experience ever trying to contact a realtor.

She is very positive and it was a reassuring quality in this unusual market (we were full of doubts that we will be able to get anything within our budget).Patty is friendly, shockingly genuine and she is a miracle worker.I was impressed with Patty's responsiveness- the emails or phone calls were returned right away. In a crunch time, when you have to come up with the offer and it is stressful to the point you can't think- she was there for us- with helpful suggestions and calmness. She was never pushy or impatient. She would honestly tell you if she did not think a property was worth pursuing.Also, after reading initially that she is a top producer I thought that maybe she will not be interested in working with the small fish, like ourselves- but she never made us feel like we were not worth her time. We had seen three other realtors before we'd met with her and were convinced that we were going to have to go with someone who we did not like, but who had the best game plan. Then we met with Patty! Not only did she have the best strategy for getting our home sold, but she even had an amenable timeline! I decided to sell my house on August 15, 2013. Patty help us close escrow by September 25, 2013 AND at the price she said she could deliver and for which we were hoping! When Patty says she can deliver, she means it! Review Ms. Hyun helped me buy my first home. So when it came time sell our family home and buy a single story home for our 87 year old Mother, I called Patty. She was respectful, caring and professional. She assisted with hiring a contractor to update the old home, and staged the home for sale. Patty had a complete set of disclosure reports for buyers at the open houses. Her honesty was impressive. Though the market was down, she stuck with it and got the home sold for a fair price.On the personal side, Ms. Hyun sat and explained every step to Mom. she knew how emotional the move was for her.
