Before touring homes, I recommend speaking with a trusted lender, getting pre-approved, understanding your monthly payment, and knowing what you are comfortable spending. From there, it becomes much easier to evaluate homes with confidence.

I also encourage buyers not to focus only on the house itself. Think about the neighborhood, commute, school options, resale potential, condition of the home, and what tradeoffs you are willing to make. My job is to help buyers understand their options clearly so they can make a strong, informed decision without feeling pressured.
