Luckily for me I have a friend whose wife is a former realtor and she gave me a couple of names. A neighbor on my street gave me some too. One name kept coming up and that was Pam Spiros of Caldwell Banker. My son called Pam and said he liked what she had to say and set up an appointment for me. Pam arrived all business. We went through the house and she didnt sugar coat anything. These are the strong points and these need to be addressed. Candor. Exactly what was needed. Pam has an enormous arsenal of vendors available at her calling. Need an electrician overnight, a residential sprinkler guy, you name it she knows them. And they come not in 2 months but this week. Invaluable. Pam was at the house almost daily and always checking the work in progress. She is a skillful negotiator and was a very valuable partner in the entire process. and I cannot recommend her any higher than I do. Therefore, when we were ready to buy a condo she was our first and only choice. The condo that we wanted to purchase checked all the boxes for the things we need to age in place for many future years while still being in a multi-age community. Initially, this seemed to be an easy buy, but unexpected issues on the seller side complicated and delayed closing on the property. Of course, it is with the unexpected that you really need an expert on your side and Pam is the consummate professional. We wanted to first interview with Pam because of her experience and top level ratings.From that interview we knew she would be best able to help us sell our home. She told us not just what was nice about our home, but ways to improve it. Some minor quirky things I would have never noticed because I had become so used to them over the years. She also knew people who could help us quickly get work done to get our home looking beautiful. That was valuable too.We followed her lead and got our house ready for sale. She arranged a broker open house the next day and that got a lot of visitors. We had buyers with a pending offer before we could even do a buyer open house that coming weekend! She had gotten the word out the way you want to all the places buyers look for homes. We wanted to sell it quickly due to an employment change.We sold our house a few weeks later. I could not have asked for a better outcome.Pam was present for all the inspections and appointments. She was honest with everyone and people in the business respect her for it. I called Pam on a Monday morning and she was there by noon. By Saturday she was holding an open house! With her help I had my home ready to show in just a few days and after the open house had several offers over asking. Her help didn't stop there, she was hands on through the entire process and guided me through to the closing. ZillowVERIFIED I highly recommend Pam Spiros as a real estate agent. The three words that come to mind are experienced, organized, and supportive. From the beginning she provided knowledgeable feedback on the house, its strengths, as well as actions needed to help sell it. She appreciated the character and good qualities of an historic home. Although a small detail, the house is over a 100 years old with a flagstone foundation but she could tell it had no water problems in the basement, because of the lack of water marks on the foundation. She also provided honest feedback including the dreaded word "declutter" and although difficult I know that made a big difference both in terms of selling the house and our subsequent move. Each step of the process was handled efficiently and professionally. At times, she was able to suggest a resource or solution, more often it was part of her process and team. She was always receptive to my questions and concerns and very supportive throughout the process. For us, it was parting with a "home" not just selling a house. We are grateful, that Pam was with us every step of the way.
