Well, unless they are recommending Daniel then they are doing you a disservice as the true greatest realtor in the area is Daniel. We have worked with Daniel to buy our first house, sell that house and now purchase or new house. Each time Daniel has gone above and beyond to help us out. With both times signing he has been there to explain the forms for us and help with our children. Something we honestly never expected of him! When selling our house he knew the right time to list it, how to stage and had contacts to help with every aspect of our move and sale. We couldn?t have wished for a better realtor at every stage of the process. He is confident, he knows the market, he is willing to go the extra mile, he is creative with marketing strategies, and he respects the needs and the challenges of the seller. The house we were trying to sell was tricky. The floor plan was unusual, and a portion of the house was converted to a very traditional Japanese living space. We knew it would not appeal to everyone. We needed to find the right buyer. We also needed to find the right agent. We spoke with several real estate agents before we found one who inspired confidence, and who could provide us with a reasonable plan to achieve our goals. That one was Daniel. Daniel communicated clearly with us every step of the way. It seems like a small thing, but he made sure to copy both my spouse and myself on every text message or email. I have worked with other agents who did not bother to take that extra step, and as a consequence the burden fell on me to keep my spouse informed and in the loop. Daniel shared our excitement when things were going well in the process, and he provided encouragement when things sometimes took longer than we hoped. We trusted Daniel to guide us through the process of preparing our house for sale. On each step of the way, he recommended vendors and contractors who did great work at reasonable prices. We never exceeded the budget that we established in the planning stage. We were not living in the house at the time, and Daniel supervised all aspects of the project. When we finally saw the professional photographs, we literally gasped in surprise and wonder at the final result. I mentioned the Japanese living space. Daniel bent over backwards to respect the cultural traditions that we practiced in this space, and did everything he could to encourage other agents and their clients to do so as well. Having to follow these ?house rules? may have discouraged or turned off some prospective buyers, but the fact that Daniel insisted on it anyway says a lot about his character. Selling a house is never a fun project, but Daniel made it relatively painless, and we were very pleased with the outcome. For anyone buying or selling, I highly recommend that they talk to Daniel.

ZillowVERIFIED After 24-years in our charming Felton house, we had made the decision to relocate after purchasing a home in another state. That put us on a timeline to get our existing home sold as quickly as possible. Not having a clue as to who to use as a real estate agent, we resorted to online research and came up with Daniel Oster, Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive and he seemed to be a young, energetic, and a highly creative individual. All that we can say is this was definitely an understatement! We met with Daniel for the first time and he told us about his marketing strategies and methods. One thing that was completely new to me was Coldwell Banker?s heavy use of social media outlets in marketing as a supplement to traditional tactics. Daniel also emphasized the importance of proper staging and high-end photography for his listings. As luck would have it, we were then hit with the COVID-19 outbreak and unprecedented real estate restrictions. Daniel?s expertise in leveraging social media was going to have to play even more heavily with the coronavirus impact on the real estate industry. We couldn?t use the normal open house approach but still had to reach our potential buyers?now! Daniel was with us every step of the way. Even though he had a basket of listings of far greater value than ours, you would think that we were his only client. From various remodeling efforts, painting, and even some stone work that he did himself, he was always at our side. When the final photoshoot was scheduled, his professional photographer took daylight, evening, and even overhead drone shots of our home. Daniel provided us with detailed daily showing times with almost every day completely booked. He provided the proper sanitation for the home and strictly enforced the CA Dept. of Health Guidance for Real Estate. After viewing the internet listing, all you could think was brilliant. The property images were breathtaking. After only 11-days on the market we signed a multiple counter-offer for the sale of our home significantly over the asking price. Nobody writes a contract, understands a contract, or performs on a contract like Daniel!

He represented us in the sale of our townhouse, and the purchase of a new home in Bonny Doon. Aspects of these transactions were tricky, including a quick timeline to find buyers for our townhouse, and difficulties in the purchase of our new home. But Daniel skillfully navigated us through each and every normal and not-so-normal aspect of the sale and purchasing process. He had a very pragmatic approach to helping us get our townhouse ready for sale, and knew where we could best apply our resources to showcase our home for potential buyers. He was very familiar with the market, and was dedicated to getting our home in contract quickly (which he did!). But perhaps more importantly, Daniel helped us through a difficult purchase (at least in our very limited experience). In addition to all the skills Ive already talked about, Daniel brought two very important things to our lives during this time: calm and optimism. He listened to our concerns at all times, when we thought the purchase was in threat to fall through, but always helped us see the light at the end of the tunnel. And now we have our forever home. We also ended up using a number of people that Daniel recommended we work with, from painters, to handymen, to loan agents, and had quality experiences across the board. After we were through escrow, I asked Daniel how many clients he was juggling along with us and he told us it had been a really busy period. However, we never felt like we were not getting 100% of his attention. Finally, on top of being an awesome realtor, Daniel is very friendly and kind person.

He is extremely available no matter what part of the process you are in, whether it be your first call, or getting ready for close. He is professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. His knowledge is second to none, anywhere from market conditions, the loan process, contract writing, right down to knowing what kind of neighborhood, or a particular street the house is on. Daniel is the type of agent that takes his cues from you, if you need extra time or help, he is there as needed. Yet if you dont need much hand holding, he will listen to your needs as requested. Also, not once did I ever feel I was second fiddle, or that there were any other buyers around. When Daniel is with you, he is dedicated to you. I wish that I had found Daniel on the first try, as I had gone through a couple of other agents. That is why I am writing this review, obviously not only to recognize the great job Daniel has done, but also to guide any prospective buyer into a positive, worthwhile experience when buying a home.

His professionalism is unsurpassed by any realtor we have met and work with (throughout the years, we have worked with at least 10 or more). To add to the difficulty of the transaction, my wife and I were expecting a baby at the time when the sale was finalized. Daniel expertly navigated the entire process and stayed on top of communications with the various lenders, the title company, and the seller over a period of 9 months. Daniel also helped us to negotiate a very good deal on the property. Daniel went above and beyond at every step of the process and helped us to feel confident about the purchase and well informed about each detail. He visited the property several times when we could not be present, spoke with the neighbors, conducted research on the surrounding area, and connected us with a bank which could meet our specific needs. While my wife and I were in the hospital after the birth of our son, Daniel hired an inspector, and arranged for a mobile notary to visit our hospital room so we could sign the final papers before the hard deadline. Luckily for me, a friend who had just recently purchased a home highly recommended Daniel. For six months, Daniel very patiently drove me around to various properties - always answering my questions and providing insight as to value, cost of renovation and noting details in the house I never would have noticed. One time, when I spontaneously stopped on my own at an open house, and was interested in the property, I called Daniel and he met me there that afternoon. I had to remind myself that Daniel had other clients, because he always made me feel like he was 100 percent dedicated to helping me find the right home, and he seemed to be in no hurry. I never once felt pushed or directed towards settling on something that wasnt right. Where I have the most appreciation for Daniel was once I found the house I wanted. It was a multiple offer situation and extremely stressful because it was the first house that I really wanted, but I didnt want to overpay. Thanks to Daniel, we were successful and my offer was accepted. He walked me through the inspections, assisted me in finding contractors for work that needed to be done and then eventually negotiated a very good price reduction based what was found during inspections. Throughout the process, there were several late-night long phone calls figuring out the offer, the counter-offer, going through disclosures and listening to my fear and uncertainty regarding making the biggest purchase of my life. Daniel listened and offered calming insight. It struck me that he never once tried to end those conversations, but always allowed me to process until some type of clarity developed and then waited for me to decide when to end the phone call. I always felt, and still do feel, that Daniel is 100 percent out for my best interest. Even after closing, Daniel assisted with situations that arose. He has been there every step of the way. I also want to add that I very much appreciate Daniels communication habits. It drives me crazy when people dont return calls, emails or texts, but I learned right away that I could count on Daniel to respond in a timely manner, which I greatly appreciate. Lastly, in addition to Daniels professionalism and skill, he is a really nice guy.
