Omar was very helpful at first, the way he has spoken to me had me excited to buy my first house. Unfortunately, as time passes by it was rarely that i talked to Omar. At first i understood that i wasn't the only person that he might be working with but coming back to the states, communicating with Omar become more difficult then ever. As a veteran, i know professionalisms and i understand service to others so i know the difference when im being taken care of or when im being used. I was being pressure to get a house that was 1hr away from my job when i requested for a place a lot closer, i was being lied too about homes that were available i had to do my own research an make calls because omar was just telling me there wasn't any home available near my job and taking the word of others then doing the research himself. I was called shady when i felt uncomfortable about a deal. the only time Omar called me was when he thought that he was going to lose his commission. I never felt the my need was priority, it felt more like since it was my first time buying a house it was easy for him to take advantage of me so my need was last. i first made contact with Omar around Mar 2022 the first time i ever meet Omar face 2 face was on closing day. to be honest i would never work again with Omar because i believe he is in it for his own gains and not in service of helping others. you should feel prideful with the help you give to others then the rewards comes after. if you don't believe me, it ok i have proof.

On our arrival to Houston over a year ago on our extended stay to South America, we rented an old efficiency apartment (approx. under 500 sq. feet) through this realtor and his mom. We initially agreed on a short-term lease, of which we renewed various times due to our changes in plans and family. Throughout every renewal we dealt with Omar, and every time it was a challenge to agree to any terms due to his lack of tactful approaches, which came off more as a challenge than an offer. Fast forward to the present, we gave our 30-day vacate notice. We also informed him and his mother our landlord, that we wanted them to conduct a thorough walk-through to ensure we receive our deposit promptly. Our landlord complied and conducted a detailed walk-through in our presence.She spent a long time inspecting every inch of this place, keep in mind this place is not big, however she consistently commended us on our great housekeeping and thanked us for keeping the place well maintained. We also pointed out things we replaced, along with disclosing a A 1/4 aEUR? piece of tile that broke off due to poor workmanship, again we were thanked for disclosing everything and we were told not to worry. At the end of this exhaustive detailed walk-though she told us we would be receiving our complete deposit, once she received a deposit from the new tenant. Imagine our horror upon receiving an email from this realtor informing us that no deposit would be forthcoming. Along with the piece of broken tile we disclosed, he also blamed us for preexisting Minor conditions this old place previously incurred. To give an example of their greediness, they charged us $300 to clean under the bed & refrigerator (it is true we forgot to clean under those areas; but that amount is ridiculous!).We have disputed all this nonsense, and when my 8-month pregnant wife tried to have a civil conversation over the phone with Omar and the landlord, this realtor started yelling and being disrespectful to my wife, that is unethical behavior for anyone let alone a realtor. Shame on you Omar!Overall experience - Poor service and not professionalThank you Zillow, for allowing us to post our review.
