ZillowVERIFIED We were the buyers and Mr Cohen represented the seller. He gave access to my final walk through. This was my first time meeting him and he was not professional at all. He arrived with a child. And as he walked us through the house the child was present at all times. He seemed over confident and had a trying to be funny character.I was not there to laugh, i was there for business. As we walk through the house there was no water running through the pipes. He then turns the main water on and water exploded from the pipe where the meter was. As he got all wet he turned the water off. He then calls the plumber to fix the repair and asked me to wait for the plumber. I refused and walked out. I was then called back to return 4 hours later. When I returned, I asked if everything was good. He tells me in a joking manner aEURoe man, everything is messed up hereaEUR?. He then shows me the fixed repair and I noticed the digital meter was not running. I asked him why? He states aEURoe I think when you run the water for a long period of time, the meter will turn on. I walked out again. The correct answer was that the water company has to come and turn it on. He seemed like a guy jus trying to make a deal and hurry the process. He delayed my buying process with his unprofessionalism. I would not recommend anyone to Mr Cohen.

ZillowVERIFIED What an experience it was, not only was it a nightmare selling the coop I had but having a broker like Noel made it easy to get through. Once you hire him you are not only his client, but family as well. He will guide you through every step of the way and explain everything in detail. If you have any questions just give him a call and he will respond, if not he will call back right away. You are his main priority and he truly makes you feel that way.

ZillowVERIFIED Noel Cohen was amazing to work with and made the entire process easy for us. Noel was referred to us by a mutual friend, who he had also helped find their dream apartment. We were looking to switch boroughs and had a strict budget for how much we wanted to spend on rent. Noel did all the research and provided us with a list of places within our budget. Once we picked out a few places, he immediately scheduled viewings that fit into our schedules. He informed us of all the things we would need to apply, and handled all communications. Any questions that we had were answered promptly, as he remained professionally communicative throughout the entire process. When it got closer to move-in day he even recommended excellent movers. Moving can be a daunting task but Noel definitely made it easier for us. We can see why he was referred to us and we would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking to rent or buy.

ZillowVERIFIED Noel Cohen is a professional. As a seller of a property built in 1901 Noel was hands on and timely in addressing unforeseen issues (there were many). He is the go to person in difficult situations and he came through with the winning goal every time. He didnt hesitate once to find solutions to the smallest problem. He is polite, courteous, reliable and honest. I only have positive feedback about him. We had a consulting company research for us the best Brokers to sell our property. They chose Noel Cohen based on research metrics. Wow! I dont know how they chose him but it was a perfect choice.

ZillowVERIFIED Ive now worked with Noel on three different projects in the NYC area. My first, a condo in Manhattan in which was a starter home where it was already on the verge of being sold but when I told Noel how much I loved it he did all he could to make sure I was the purchaser (the man is a genie). After a year or so in this condo I renovated (with a contractor that Noel suggested to me) I wanted to sell and of course the first person I called was Noel. He helped me stage the property and we sold in less than 3 weeks for more than 2x the amount I paid for the place initially (including renovation). Fast forward 2 years later and once again I was ready for a home and called Noel. Being that he knows everyone in the upper Manhattan Bronx area we were able to view properties that werent even listed yet. I finally decided on a home in the grand concourse area of the Bronx and I let Noel go to work. They say this is a sellers market but even with that Noel was able to strike a deal with the sellers agent for 20k less than the asking price (I'm telling you the mans a genie). At this point I dont consider Noel an agent, I consider him a brother. Not only is he great at his job but hes also a person youd love to be around. Hes gregarious, down to earth, and all around relatable guy. I look forward to more projects in the future with him and wish him the best of luck.

ZillowVERIFIED I have to say I was a little nervous about selling my Parkchester condo, it was the first property I had purchased and I had no experience in being a seller. My niece Tinarsha Brown referred Noel to me and she assured me he was the one to get the job done. She was right!! Noel was extremely responsive, professional and explained every step along the way. He knows the business very and it was exemplified in the handling of the transaction. I received multiple offers and I was happy about how FAST he got it sold. During the transaction, my mother had been hospitalized, I was a wreck, and Noel became more than my agent at that moment, he became my friend...part of my family. While I had to step away to take care of my Mom, he said, no worries, I got everything handled for you, don't you worry. His communication skills are a 10+, he text, call and email. I wasn't just a transaction to him. He's a very caring professional and I would refer him 1000 times over! Thank you Noel Cohen, you are a superstar agent!

ZillowVERIFIED Noel Cohen provides excellent customer service and superb real estate advice. As a public adjuster, I often have displaced disaster-victim clients who need to rent a home similar to their own home. Needless to say, that is a very difficult task of which Noel handles smoothly. On our first project together, he was able to find multiple properties for a scrupulous tenant to choose from. Positive communication with Noel remained strong for the duration of the tenant's lease and the client was happy. These main reasons are why I continue to work with him and his team on anything pertaining to real estate to this day.

ZillowVERIFIED I was referred to Mr Cohen by a family friend. Upon meeting him and sharing my situation with him, of which I believed to be a unique circumstance, I was assured that he would be able find my children and I a new residence. I had to be out of my home within 3 weeks, having resided there 18yrs. and was very apprehensive as I had several disappointments prior to working with him. Noel displayed the knowledge and self- confidence of his profession that ultimately has me holding my keys today. Not only did he establish a rapport with me the client he simultaneously establishes and maintains a great rapport with the listing Agents and colleagues. He has a dynamic approach to the art of negotiation, His assertiveness was almost frustrating at times but I began to realize it was all with good intention and as he had promised was primarily for obtaining the goal, my new home. He was not only patient in considering the location of interest, he was flexible with my schedule. I would highly recommend Mr. Cohen as he is reliable, down- to-earth, while not withstanding being professional at all times. Im truely grateful.

ZillowVERIFIED I was resigning my DOE job in NY to assume a similar position out of state. We had less than 3 months to pack, to complete extensive repairs, and to find a buyer for my Parkchester Condo. My sister recommended her agent, Noel Cohen, who was able to sell her condo in a few months, something other agents could not do for over two years. Mr. Cohen brought to this project, a degree of professionalism, expertise and personality rarely seen in this profession. Within two weeks of the listing there were scheduled showings at the buyer's request as well as an acceptance of our asking price well before any repairs were made. This initial deal fell through, but in the end, Mr. Cohen was able to secure an all-cash offer that expedited the process. Due to delays beyond our control, we had to relocate before a re-scheduled closing date. However, Noel worked with us to set everything in place for a flawless closing about a week later. We could not be happier. If you are looking for professionalism, character, and true results with your R. E. transaction, Noel is 'the man'.

ZillowVERIFIED June 2015 we made a decision to put Our house on the market. It was not because we were in financial difficulties maintaining the house, it was simply time for mom and I to part way. There's a saying that goes if you build it they will come; in this case it's if you're serious he will come. I'm talking about the right person, in the right season. Mr. Cohen was not referred to us. I googled selling my home and one of those site popped up where you could post a bit of information about your home and realtors will reach out to you. I had gotten at least a dozen responses, but what stood out about Mr Cohen was he rang my door bell and left his resume, references and an organized packet of information which included a survey of the homes in my areas, the price and a price range that he could get me for my home.Patience: Putting our home on the market was an emotional decision for us. It was our first home newly built we were the first owners. There were times when we were over well, I was struggling with the next step in the process. Mr. Cohen exercise a lot a patience in being considerate and understanding.. Personable: His persistency and consistency; WOW!! He checked in with us at least once per week during the entire process, sometimes in person to encourage to be patient and remind us that he taking care of us.Passionate about his work! He will tell you this is his full time profession, but I've seem him put his all into selling our house for the right price. Great Realter, great person! Noel P. Cohen will get the job done! Very happy with what we walked away with, bitter sweet about the process ending.

ZillowVERIFIED I was recently looking for a new apartment and came across a listing posted by Noel Cohen. He very promptly arranged to show me the property and was informative about both the building and neighborhood. I was eager to apply for a unit and Noel got on top of things right away, assuring me that he would refund the broker's fee if he failed to get me approved. This showed that he was fully invested in the process and also not out to scam me or drag his feet. He has an excellent professional & friendly rapport with clients and colleagues, something that served me well when the application process stalled at one point. Noel was able to calmly finesse things along and achieve a positive outcome, where I would've lost it and blown up at the management company for not responding. He was even present at the lease signing to ensure everything was finalized with the building management company, which is not normally required. Noel Cohen is a great real estate agent and while I hope to not have to deal with the headache of moving again anytime soon, I will definitely seek out his services again if the time comes.

ZillowVERIFIED When we decided to purchase a coop, it took some time for us to find the right realtor. Then i found Noel who said that he normally just represents sellers but he was willing to work with us. He understood what we were looking for which was a coop within our budget, in a good building and quiet neighborhood. He searched and selected several coops within our price range to show us and he didn't stop until we found the right one for us. He was with us every step of the way. The coop we a picked required work. Noel recommended contractors. I needed to replace my lawyer, again he gave me a list to pick from. He was always there to answer all our questions and if he didn't have the answer he got us in touch with the person who did. Noel exceeded my expectations of a real estate agent. He even played a messenger for a day because it was needed to meet the deadline for the closing. The documents needed for the closing were sent to the wrong place. Noel went to pick up and deliver the documents to venue of the closing. We are happy with the services he provided us. Noel is a great guy and he is very knowledgeable in real estate. He is very patient. It doesn't matter how long process is, he is determine to see it through the end. I highly recommend him for anyone's real estate needs.
