We had relocated to the Knoxville area during the summer of 2021 and decided to rent until we became familiar with the area. We chose to live in Hardin Valley, due to the schools and location. We fell in love with the area and quickly decided that we needed to stop paying rent and buy a house. We needed a home zoned for Hardin Valley schools and we were wanting to move swiftly, which wasnt a guarantee given the aggressive housing market. We had our initial meeting with Nikki during the mid-February timeframe, where she took diligent notes regarding our specific needs and our finances. After that meeting, we were off and running. Throughout the process Nikki consistently demonstrated that she is a technologically advanced realtor by utilizing real estate database queries to quickly find homes for sale in the Hardin Valley school district. She did not waste our time with homes that were not in our price range or not in line with our needs. When we found the perfect house, Nikki helped us outline an offer that was good for us and made the seller happy as well. At the end of the day, our offer was accepted, and we closed in mid-April. In a matter of two months, we began the house hunting process and then successfully closed on our house! That is incredible given the current environment! Nikki knows Knoxville and the current market like the back of her hand. She continuously reached out to us to see if we had any questions, worked hand and hand with our lender to ensure that everything was going as planned, and made sure we felt like her number one priority. She promptly returned our phone calls and text, usually within a matter of minutes! Nikki is also highly personable with an engaging personality, and you can tell she loves what she does. Through no fault of Nikki, this ultimately involved buying one home and selling it before we found the house we really needed. After we purchased the first home and made some minor improvements we realized it just wasn't the place for us. So she patiently worked with us to put it back on the market and got it sold in a timely fashion. She then helped us find another home which we have moved into and love. Throughout this process, the home we were leaving was on the market. It was not an easy sell because of it's distance from town, the size of the property (83 acres), it's reliance on spring water, and the age of the house (over 100 years). I think that Nikki's stick-to-itness and being able to calm fears of people not used to living out in the country made a huge difference.
