Before you start touring homes, get pre-approved, establish a realistic budget, and clearly define your priorities. Keep an open mind, sometimes the perfect home isn't the one you originally imagined. Most importantly, choose a Realtor who will educate you, negotiate on your behalf, and put your best interests first every step of the way. If you're thinking about selling your home, my biggest piece of advice is to hire a local Realtor who knows your market inside and out. Every community is different, and pricing, marketing, and negotiation strategies can vary greatly between Venice, North Venice, Nokomis, Sarasota, Wellen Park, Lakewood Ranch, and surrounding Gulf Coast communities.
The first impression matters. Prepare your home by decluttering, making minor repairs, and enhancing curb appeal so buyers immediately see its value. Professional photography, video, digital marketing, and maximum online exposure are essential because today's buyers begin their home search online. Most importantly, price your home correctly from the start. The right pricing strategy, combined with expert marketing and strong negotiation, will attract more qualified buyers and help you achieve the best possible price in the shortest amount of time.
Selling a home is more than putting a sign in the yard, it's about having a proven marketing plan and an experienced Realtor who will guide you through every step of the process with confidence.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business from the New York Institute of Technology and have been a licensed Realtor since 2005, giving me more than 20 years of real estate and sales experience. Throughout my career, I've helped buyers and sellers navigate everything from first-time home purchases and relocations to luxury homes, waterfront properties, golf communities, investment properties, and retirement living throughout Venice, North Venice, Nokomis, Sarasota, Wellen Park, Lakewood Ranch, and Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast.
