Question 1

1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Accepted Answer

Get pre-approved before you start touring. It tells you your real budget and makes your offer stronger when you find the right house. If it's your first home, you may need less for a down payment than you think. Some loans go as low as 3 to 3.5% down, and Utah has assistance programs worth checking. We'll go over what fits your situation before you look at a single listing.

Question 2

2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Accepted Answer

Price it right from day one. The first couple of weeks on the market get the most attention, and an overpriced home tends to sit and then sell for less. I like to walk the home with you first, then set the price using recent sales nearby. Small fixes and good photos go a long way too.

Question 3

3. What types of clients have you worked with?

Accepted Answer

Mostly first-time buyers in West Jordan, South Jordan and Herriman. That's why I started First Home Utah. I also help sellers in the same area.

Question 4

4. How did you get started in Real Estate?

Accepted Answer

I spent 15+ years in visual effects as a compositing supervisor on films like Mad Max: Fury Road. I got my Utah real estate license in June 2024, joined the Elite Team at Century 21 Everest, and started First Home Utah to focus on helping first-time buyers get into their first home.
