ZillowVERIFIED I was connected to Nelson through Zillow via tour request of a home. Nelson was very responsive but did not maintain a chain of communication (responding through different phone numbers and email messages). He did not introduce himself as a buyers agent until he told me to sign an "Exclusive Right to Represent Buyer" before having met him ("I will need you to sign before we tour the property"). Nelson said this is "required by the state in order for an agent to show [me] a property and also it allows [him] to get paid." While a similar agreement should be in place to show property, he did not communicate that a short-term "Non Representative" agreement was an option for those not looking to commit to an agent. His response to my rejection of the agreement was snarky "I thought I explain[ed] this agreement to you last night." I do not recommend him due to his pushiness and withholding of pertinent information. Instead, I was able to connect a more transparent realtor.EDIT (Additional Clarification): Nelson contacted me via telephone in response to my initial inquiry on Feb 27 at 6:26pm. The next morning (Feb 28), we corresponded via email to coordinate a showing of his 16 S Grove Street listing in Vernon. I was forwarded a "Exclusive Right to Represent Buyer" document at 6:19am and respectfully declined to sign--his response is directly quoted above. Communication was severed shortly thereafter before 8:00am on Feb 28. My review is true and accurate as it relates to my correspondence with Nelson Foss of Executive Real Estate.
