As a second-generation REALTOR® with nearly a decade of experience, I'm proud to call Nashville home and even prouder to help others put down roots here. Real estate runs in my blood, but what sets me apart is the way I combine hard work, transparency, and education to make sure my clients are confident every step of the way. Over the years, I've closed more than 200 transactions and consistently ranked as a multi-million-dollar producer. From first-time buyers to seasoned investors, I've guided clients through urban condos, suburban neighborhoods, sprawling rural properties, and brand-new construction. I know the ins and outs of navigating land, zoning, and building opportunities -- making me the right partner for anyone looking beyond a typical residential purchase. My track record reflects the results I deliver: from earning "Rookie of the Year" early in my career to receiving multiple production awards, I've consistently ranked among the top agents in my market. But what matters most isn't the recognition -- it's the trust my clients place in me. I believe honesty and hustle are the cornerstones of this business. Whether I'm negotiating hard on your behalf, walking land with you in the country, or helping you design the perfect new build, you'll get an agent who's all in. When I'm not working deals, you'll find me outdoors -- hiking, exercising, or exploring Tennessee's parks and local spots around town. If you're looking for an agent who brings experience, energy, and local insight to the table, I'd love to work for you.

FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
If you’re trying to buy a home right now—especially around Nashville, Hermitage, Mt. Juliet, Franklin, or Brentwood—you’ve got to be both prepared and patient.
The first step is always getting your financing lined up. I can’t tell you how many times buyers find a great house, but by the time they’re ready to pull the trigger, it’s already under contract. Get pre-approved early, know your numbers, and be ready to move when the right one pops up.
Second, don’t just shop the house—shop the area and the lifestyle. Buying in Mt. Juliet feels different than Hermitage. Franklin’s pricing trends and HOAs are completely different than Brentwood’s. I help my clients understand not just what they’re buying, but where they’re buying and what it means long-term for appreciation, taxes, and resale.
And finally, stop chasing the “perfect” home. Focus on potential—good bones, smart layout, solid location. A house with room to grow will usually beat the one that’s been staged to death.
At the end of the day, buying a home in Middle Tennessee is all about having the right plan and someone who knows this market inside and out. That’s where I come in.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
If you’re selling a home around Nashville, Hermitage, Mt. Juliet, Franklin, or Brentwood, don’t leave money on the table by guessing what buyers want — the market shifts fast, and presentation matters more than ever.
First, price it right from the start. Overpricing will get you showings with no offers, and underpricing can cost you thousands. I study local comps daily, so my sellers hit that sweet spot that brings real buyers — not tire-kickers.
Second, make the home move-in ready. You don’t need a full renovation, but clean, decluttered, and neutral always wins. A few simple updates — paint, lighting, curb appeal — can add real dollars to your bottom line.
Third, your marketing has to stand out. Cell phone photos and lazy listing descriptions don’t cut it. I use professional photos, targeted social ads, and video marketing that gets your home in front of the right buyers — including out-of-state buyers moving to Middle Tennessee.
The best results come when your home hits the market looking its best, priced strategically, and marketed like a product, not a project. That’s how you sell fast and maximize your profit.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I’ve worked with just about every type of client you can imagine around Nashville and Middle Tennessee — first-time homebuyers, families relocating from out of state, military buyers using VA loans, and homeowners moving up or down within the area.
A big part of my business is helping new construction buyers — understanding builder contracts, incentives, and what upgrades actually add value. I also work with sellers who want to list strategically, not just throw a sign in the yard and hope for the best.
I’ve helped people buy starter homes in Hermitage and Mt. Juliet, luxury homes in Franklin and Brentwood, and land or rural property in the surrounding counties for those wanting privacy, space, or a place to build. I understand what to look for when it comes to septic, soil mapping, zoning, utilities, and how to make sure a piece of land actually fits the vision a buyer has.
What ties all my clients together is the need for someone who knows this market, communicates clearly, and protects their bottom line. Whether it’s your first home, a custom build, or acreage outside the city — I treat every client like I’m helping them make one of the biggest investments of their life.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
One that stands out was a couple who relocated from Houston, Texas to White House, Tennessee. They were moving their whole family, knew nothing about the area, and wanted new construction but didn’t want to get burned by builder fine print or inflated pricing.
I helped them lock in a 5-bedroom new build with a great floor plan, pool access, and a low monthly HOA. We negotiated strong seller incentives, got them a better interest rate through the builder’s lender, and timed the closing perfectly with their move from Texas.
What made it memorable wasn’t just the deal — it was watching them go from overwhelmed to confident homeowners who now love Middle Tennessee. Those are the wins that make this job worth it.
I’ve had similar experiences helping clients buy acreage in rural areas, where I walk them through zoning, utilities, and soil approvals to make sure the land actually fits their goals. Whether it’s new construction in Mt. Juliet or a few acres outside of Franklin, my goal is always the same: protect my clients, get them the best terms possible, and make the process smooth from start to finish.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I’m originally from Ohio and lived in Rochester, New York, before moving to Nashville in 2021. I come from a real estate family, so I’ve been around the business most of my life. I saw how buying and selling homes could change people’s lives, and I wanted to be part of that.
When I got to Middle Tennessee, I could see the city was booming. New construction was everywhere, people were relocating from all over, and neighborhoods were changing fast. I jumped in and built my business helping people make smart moves, whether that meant buying, selling, or investing.
Today I work throughout Nashville, Hermitage, Mt. Juliet, Franklin, Brentwood, and the surrounding areas. I’ve helped clients with everything from new builds to land and rural properties.
What pulled me into real estate was opportunity, but what’s kept me in it is seeing my clients win and helping them make confident, well-informed decisions.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Most of what sets me apart comes from real-world experience, not classroom theory. Over the past decade, I’ve closed more than 200 transactions across Middle Tennessee, from urban condos to new construction, investment properties, and rural land.
That hands-on experience has given me deep knowledge of how builders operate, what to watch for in contracts, and how to structure offers that actually win. I also stay on top of market data, zoning changes, and new development around Nashville, Hermitage, Mt. Juliet, Franklin, and Brentwood, so my clients are always a step ahead.
On top of that, I’ve completed specialized training through my brokerage and local REALTOR® associations focused on negotiation, contracts, and ethics. It’s helped me sharpen my skills and deliver better results for my clients every time.

Nate is an excellent buyer's agent. He is honest, timely, a shrewd negotiator and never hesitated to point out what was wrong with a property before we put in an offer. Going to see a house with Nate is like bringing along your own home inspector who you know has your best interest in mind. I would recommend The Pope to anyone looking to buy a house.

We cannot say enough good things about our experience working with Nate. He ALWAYS made himself available for showings, even when we asked him for as little as 30 minutes notice. Nate genuinely cared about us finding our perfect home, providing real and meaningful feedback to us on each home we viewed with him. I will use Nate as my agent for as long as we are both in Rochester, and you should too.

Nate is not only an amazing realtor; he is an amazing individual. I couldn't have crafted a better agent from my imagination. During the purchase of our new home, he was super knowledgeable, friendly, very responsive, and most important, he was truly our advocate during this involved process. He was always holding our best interest to heart even if that meant more work for him. I will use him, exclusively, on all real estate matters going forward. Thanks so much, Nate!!!!
