ZillowVERIFIEDOn a scale of 1-5 stars, Nathan is at minimum a 10!! The thought alone of possibly buying a new home, especially during these aEURoetryingaEUR? times, was overwhelming on its own. However, Nathan guided and advised us every step of the way. I was even leery about step one, the credit pull, to find out exactly where we stood and had to get to. Nathan put us in contact with a financial mortgage consultant who gave us the road map for the financial journey we were starting on. When we sat down to go over all the information Nathan explained everything in laymans terms to make it less overwhelming of what the goals are we were trying to achieve. Moving forward, we had weekly phone calls with Nathan, covering the progress being made, and the next goal needed to be met. Nathan made himself available at every opportunity, to answer the simplest to more confusing questions as they came up. We were always given a thorough explanation of expectations and what to expect next. After months of working towards our financial/credit goals, the call from Nathan came, we had qualified financially to start looking at homes, for real now!! Nathan sat us down and explained the next steps to come and what to expect. Our weekly calls were more often and also turned into in person meetings and walk throughs of potential home candidates. Unfortunately with our schedules and the time of year, November/December, we could only meet up or view homes predominantly on Sundays. Nathan once again rose to the occasion making every effort to accommodate our schedules and availability. Nathan showed us homes that fit all our needs, which got us to a point where we were ready to make an offer on a home we were really excited about. Once again Nathan took charge, guiding us through the offer process and protecting our interests of not over or under bidding but trying to put us in the best position to get our best dollar value without over extending our selves. Needless to say we were overbid, but not disappointed. We made an offer for what we thought was fair and not overpaying. Back to the drawing board we went. However, Nathan assured us it was for the best, if it was meant to be it would be. We looked at several more homes that just didnt do it for us, something was missing. Still building credit strength during this whole process, we kept looking for the perfect home for us. Nathan called us in for a meeting to look at this a different way, he could see we werent just getting aEURoeexcitedaEUR? over what we were seeing. He knows us a bit on a personal level as well as professional, so he asked if we had considered the thought of possibly building what we want instead of looking for it. That seemed to be a very scary option. Taking a step back and talking about it, we decided Nathan was right why look for what we wanted when we could design what we want. We expressed our fear and nervousness of this option, but Nathan said he would be there every step of the way. He jumped in right away and what seemed like the next day he had options for us to consider. Almost like magic, we were 35 minutes from our rental home standing in a framed only model home. We had no idea this was the beginning of a whirl wind fairytale, and our knight in shining armor, Nathan, was leading the charge. Every single step of the way he was there!! When we met with the builder, our lot pick, design inside and out, appliance selections, floors, windows, and every color choice. Nathan was available and there for the whole process from start to finish!! Every call, email, and appointment Nathan was there supporting, guiding, and representing our best interests! He worked so tirelessly through the whole process for us, as if he was building this home for himself. Like all new builds there were some set backs, but with every bad news call came good news, hope, aEURoe your almost there, all your hard work is getting closer to paying off.aEUR? That was one of the many positive and upbeat comments that Nathan used to help us to keep seeing the silver lining of the seemingly overwhelming challenge we took on. Just shy of six months later we got to do a walk through of the aEURoefinalaEUR? product, our own home. Even then with the last minute final touches needed, Nathan kept championing for us to get our brand new home as close to perfection as it could be. Down to the final hour before closing, after being pushed back 4 or 5 times, Nathan was getting the guarantees of promised final touches to be completed after we settled and closed. This process was long, stressful, overwhelming, happy, joyful, educational, and a huge life changing experience!! None of this would have come to fruition with out the guidance, perseverance, commitment, and total professionalism of Nathan Mountain, a true God send to us!! We are forever in his debt. We found our forever home and a forever friend, thank you so much Nathan!!
