Nancy Achstatter

Nancy was the top listing and selling agent in her office from 2002 to 2005. She was listed in the "Top 200 Realtors in Closed Sale on Long Island" in 2005. Her success as Top Producing Agent inspired her to launch her own independently-owned and operated company. Home and Hearth Real Estate was established in 2006 with two offices located in Rockville Centre and Oceanside. Nancy is proud to be the broker of the only real estate company in town to be recognized by the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, Nassau County and New York State Legislature with the "Business of the Year" Award. Understanding the need to maintain the competitive edge, Nancy worked to earn certifications from National Association of Realtors that include: Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) designation includes advanced courses in real estate finance, law and marketing - This designation includes technology training and marketing certification. Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) - This designation is designed for real estate buyers agents who work with buyer-clients. Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) - This is the premier Home Staging Designation. Nancy continually stays on the cutting edge of real estate technology through educational courses and professional seminars. She is an instructor of adult Education classes titled "How to Stage Your Home to Sell for Top Dollar" and "Selling Your Home With or Without a Realtor". Nancy holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Buffalo and has studied photography at Mount San Antonio College in California. Nancy believes in giving back to the community. She has served two terms as Vice President of Kiwanis Club and serves on the Executive Board of The Education Foundation/ Schoolhouse Green. She also volunteers her time helping the needy in Community Service. Nancy lives with her husband, Gerard, their three kids and spirited Cock-a-poo, Maiden.
