With his background in HVAC and volunteer firefighting, he had a great eye for the structure and mechanicals of the houses I looked at (furnace, water heater, plumbing, electrical, etc.). As a first-time home buyer I felt very at ease with Mitch and felt like he took what I was looking for into consideration, but also educated me in areas I hadn't considered before we started looking at houses. From when I started looking at homes with Mitch until my closing date it was less than 2 months, but I never felt rushed or pushed into making a quick decision. ZillowVERIFIED We purchased a home through Mr. Mitch Brown. At first glance he came off like a fantastic guy. Over the course of the home proces and search it came clearer and clearer we didn't see eye to eye on homes. We decided to stay because we felt guilty for how much time we had taken from him with no reward. What we noticed though is that after the first few homes he stopped pointing out the things a new home owner wouldn't catch (we were) and just seemed to really be motivated by what would make for the smoothest sale. He talked us down from asking the carpets to be cleaned because it may offend the previous owner. We also came into a situation where the bar in the house was listed on their garage sale and only found out by our own personal curiosity. A person would think with all his experience he would of never of thought twice about writing that into the purchase agreement or at last chance used his negoating skills to keep it with the house. Nope we had to go to the garage sale and buy it from owner. Just in general he took the path of least resistance with selling party and in some way justified the seller upon disagreements. I would never use Mitch Brown again for my reality needs. Lastly if you do chose don't use his home inspector he will just push the home through for sale.
