ZillowVERIFIED As a first-time home buyer, I had just started my journey and began attending open houses I saw on Zillow to get a feel for the market in the summer of 2025. I met Minna at one of these open houses where she was showing a property for her co-worker from Vantage Realty. My first impression of her was that she was very friendly and effervescent. We got on the topic of colleges, as I had my teen daughter with me, and she shared that both her kids attend USF. She asked me if I already had an agent, and I told her I had just started the process of looking at properties. We exchanged contact information and we met up at George's in West Portal to discuss possibly hiring her as my agent. Initially at the start of our sit-down meeting, I thought her exuberance was her "salesperson" persona, but after learning more about her, I realized it was genuine passion she had for her career! I really got a good sense of this during our meeting over donuts and tea. She is exactly the type of agent you want on your side in this competitive SF market...someone who is honest, hard-working, and absolutely loves what they do! On top of that, she is really sharp and has the wealth of market knowledge to pivot strategies if needed. Minna became my agent at the end of September and I started looking at properties with her and her son Jordan, who also works at Vantage Realty. She got me up to speed about the types of properties available to me at my price point. She educated me on the realities of the SF market and prepared me for what to expect in this limited market. Her positive attitude helped me navigate the challenge of low inventory and kept me focused on what I could afford. Fast forward to getting into our dream Victorian in the Mission at the start of 2026! Minna was able to negotiate an amazing outcome for us! We were not the highest offer, but her skill set is that she knows the market well, understands the terms sellers prefer, and packages everything in such a way that we eventually won the property. She also went above and beyond during the underwriting phase when we almost considered pulling out during the closing period due to some underwriting issues. She worked day and night to come up with a path forward and pulled out all the stops to get us back on track to closing.
