Cristina Medina was absolutely incredible throughout our home buying process. She not only helped us purchase our first duplex, but she also previously helped my mother buy her home aEUR" so this was our second time working with her, and once again she delivered. She was extremely patient, responsive, and always made herself available. I work long hours and sometimes had to reach out very early in the morning or late in the evening, and she consistently got back to me. She worked around our schedule, met us on weekends and afternoons when we were available, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. I enlisted Ms. Newton as my realtor when searching for my dream property. She assisted me throughout the initial stages, including making an offer on the property. After the property inspection, several problems and issues were identified. Ms. Newton supported me in preparing and submitting a counteroffer to address these concerns. Up to this point, the process was going well. However, after the sellers realtor responded to our counteroffer, the experience took a negative turn. Ms. Newton did not follow up on my questions to my satisfaction and failed to respond to my inquiries promptly. This lack of communication and follow-through ultimately led me to cancel my purchase. I was left feeling both disgusted and disappointed by the outcome. I still do not understand why Ms. Newton did not follow up with the seller, which resulted in me losing the property. In addition to the communication issues, Ms. Newton often talked over me during discussions. There was also an instance where she expressed to the inspector that she could not understand why I would consider purchasing the property, which I found unprofessional and discouraging. Although Ms. Newton previously represented me during the sale of another property and the results of that transaction were satisfactory, my recent experience has changed my perspective. Based on the difficulties I encountered during the buying process, I would not consider using her services again, nor would I recommend her to anyone interested in buying or selling property.
